Yeah, I was referencing the one I made on the 20th; basically I was bumping this thread back up to gain everybody's attention.

I don't have much to add at this point. I think we need Verlox to move us along.

Wheeeeeeeeee! Another fight!

Awright, I am gonna keep a tally so we know what we killed this time; last fight was much too hectic (although we did kick major ass in it):

8 Zombies- "Healthy"
6 Zombies- "Healthy", 2 Zombies- "Wounded" (Cordus wounds one's hand, horribly annihilates another).
5 Zombies- "Healthy", 2 Zombies- "Wounded" (One-Hand, Army the Two Armed Wonder), 1 Zombie- "Dead" (Trannigan kills one using blades, lightning, and boots)
4 Zombies- "Healthy", 2 Zombies- "Wounded" (One-Hand, Juhanor smashes The Headless ZombieMan's head in), 2 Zombies- "Dead" (The Gore Bag, Juhanor finishes off Army the Two Armed Wonder).
4 Zombies- "Healthy", 1 Zombie- "Wounded" (One-Hand), 3 Zombies- "Dead" (The Gore Bag, Army the Two Armed Wonder, Elaine burns up The Headless ZombieMan)

Total- 4 Zombies remain "Healthy," we have 1 disfigured Zombies, and 3 dead Zombies.

Hopefully, this makes things more clear this time around.

Hey guys!

I left Elaine's explosive little burst of power a mystery on purpose. She's an atronach, so she can absorb magic from all sorts of things around her. Her little episode could have been caused by any number of things. Another character might have done that to her, or the blue orb thingy, or maybe some other as-yet unexplained source.

Feel free to take the ball and run with it. Just remember, it's way more boring if one of the other characters simply cast a spell on her to charge up her magic. It would be way cooler if the source was more mystical, or even still unexplained. That also might help us advance the story.

I was just throwing it out there to see what we could come up with.

Love!
-V

PS:
Thank you TMT! Much easier now.

I'm posting right now hircine, and I will only be disabling one or two, so if you could wait, there will be at least one disabled and out of the way?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'll just take one so others have a chance. You all should be smacked for endangering our lives with your reckless destruction casting

The leader isn't really hurt and if possible could it be a cooperative effort to take him down. Also the leader's armor and weapon will disintegrate like the ayleid weapons in oblivion upon defeat.

That better?

I'll post in a little bit to start beating up the Leader zombie.

Guys just a friendly pointer that might help to keep things more interesting:

You don't need to repeat everything that's happening. There are some basic guidelines for when to repeat what has already been written, and I would like to offer them up below.

This helps your post focus more on your own character. It also makes for a much easier read because we don't get the strange feeling of repetition before anything new comes up.

The best times to re-write things that have already been said are:
  • When you want your character to get involved with something that has happened. It is useful to describe what the other characters did so that the readers can make sense of where you are coming in.
  • When your character is watching something for a reason. It's important not to just repeat everything your character sees, but only the things that make a difference. Perhaps you are looking for something or waiting for something. If not, you probably don't need to repeat it.
  • When something happens that catches your character off guard, or surprises them, or you just want your character to notice for some reason.

Above all, don't just repeat what's going on. Remember to tell it from your angle, from the perspective that your character would have. There's a lot of near exact duplication of what's going on, but every account should really be more unique.

Perspective.

PS:
I love everyone's posting. I'm only trying to be constructive.

Sooooooo, new GM post explaining what the orb is?

Wheeeeeeee! Another fight!

This one, we should all team up to slay the beast... maybe Juhanor will finally use those throwing knives that have been motionless for the entire saga thus far.

Re-edit: So, I ended up moving him to the location, but then sent him back; I figured that if it was okay with everyone, Juhanor would finally fulfill the position of advance scout for once.

I think we should let others have a chance to do something guys, so to the few people posting lately (myself, Trann., Carrot, MT, Varus and hircine) we should wait a bit a see if Caveat, foxy, DFT and Ayummi are just busy and give them a chance to come back to respond to the epic boss fight before we end up killing it for ourselves.

I just feel bad that they may be busy and we just kinda finished up the entire last attack without giving them much of a chance  I think posting up to the boss fight is good (like hircine said) but maybe give others a chance before moving on. I say if they haven't posted by a certain day we can go ahead?
