The Expedition to Saarthal OOC Thread.

Well, Cordus is ... indisposed ... for the moment, and he'll be busy for a while. Plus, I think it'd be a funny scene to have him running in to the castle 15 minutes later than everyone else, still trying to pull up and belt his pants.

Sorry, i haven't really had time to post here (which is why my last one was crap.)

So who is going to go see the king now?

Hjolifur and Orlando were going up to the Keep to speak with King WhatsHisFace. The rest of us were just sort of hanging about the Market Square, because everyone decided to take off in different directions.

However, we all ended up at the Tavern; probably because of our love of the drink.

Now, basically, the majority of us are hanging about the Tavern; Cordus is upstairs gettin' his groove on, and six of us are downstairs drinking/talking.

We could just all go if you might have to be too busy to post much lately. Or if no one else wants to I will do it.

Hello everyone, glad to join. I'm not sure how long is appropriate to be drinking in the inn, but Ni's character is still there having yet to interact with everyone. Once that happens if someone wants to head on to the castle that seems fine.

Sounds good. There's not much point dithering in the tavern. Sorry I didn't get to post much today, I was doing stuff. Just so you know, I go back to school this week, so there'll be more day like this when I can't post until late.

I'll make a post in about an hour, after I've watched Top Gear :P

I may have to slow down on posting myself during the day. Might be a good thing though, I tend to post whenever I see someone else has and probably do it too much as it is lol.

Isn't rapid posting a good thing? It seems like it :) And I'm sure everyone will have those days with work or school so it's good to post while we can.

Also, I already mentioned this to someone in a pm, but I'm new to this, so I just wanted to add if I start doing something dumb or you have suggestions on how to improve feel free to post about it or message me. Thanks.

Well judging from your first post, you seem quite a competent RPer, so I highly doubt you'll do anything wrong. I think the best advice I can give is just if you think its inappropriate and highly stupid, it probably isn't as bad as you think, just make sure it fits in with the RP. I also reccomend reading Illusionary Nothing's RP Guide stickied at the top of this board.

So what say tomorrow, you guys head to the castle, and I'll have you guys in the dungeon doing your first quest.

Yeah, sure. I just need to have Juhanor pop out to the clothiers and find a [censored]in' hat with a feather in it. Also, the thread only has like, five (maybe four) posts to go until it reaches 200, so how about we finish this one up, then start off at the Keep in the new thread?

Sounds good. My character is ready, just waiting for anyone to take us there.

I was just wondering: Do you guys think I am doing all right so far? Like Caveat, this is actually my first RP, so I was wondering if any of the more experienced players have any criticism for my writing style so far.

I dunno, personally I feel like I am not so good at this...

I am fairly new to RPing myself, having only ever been in a total of 4 on all forums I have been on.

I personally think you are a good RPer though. I enjoy reading Juhanor's thoughts and the way he reacts to the world and people around him. :vaultboy

And to Blademaster's OOC post in the RP thread, I am aware, but damnit Trannigan needed booze!

Naw, everyone feels that way. Or at least I do

But no, everyone in this RP is great to RP with. We defiantly got lucky with such a great group of people to do this RP with

I think it's amazing we have finished a thread and haven't really done anything major yet, which goes to show how committed people are to this and I hope it stays that way for a long time.

Standing up, Juhanor made c

Juhanor made what? Cake? Or is this a typo?
I'm going to post now, so I hope it wasn't really necessary. Oh, and By the way, I think you're a great Rper Master Thief, nothing to be worried about.

This is my first RP on these forums too, and I was a little worried at first, but I'm really enjoying myself now. I honestly thought you were an experienced RPer because of your writing style. I think you're doing fantastically

No idea. Is it happening in other threads?

Haha, yes, he made a little cake to take into the ruins, a whole baking scene was cut out there

But anyway. It seems like a lot of us are new. I agree with carrot sandwich, I figured most of you (you too carrot!) were a bit older hands at this from your posts. I guess it's good that we're off to a good start then :)

Also, I think it's funny that a couple people commented on my character's attractiveness. Not that this makes her unattractive, but I thought of her as having a lean, almost boyish figure, not at all womanly. Guess I should have put that in the character sheet. Ah well, it's all good.

Oh. Yeah.

You guys can keep posting in the new thread, of course. And when you're all ready, head on over to the castle, and I'll make a GM post. Basically, just announce yourselves at the castle, and I'll take care of the rest with the king and such.

That last post was basically me saying I'm ready to move on. Caveat, feel free to move us to the castle if you'd like, unless you wanna talk on the way there. Either way is good, depending on how fast people wanna meet the King.

Oh no, my cake-baking scene!

I really have no idea what was going to go in there. Just ignore that part.
