Is the extra damage of +damage perks multiplied by crit bonu

I've looked through the list of FNV perks, and I've started wondering. Does the additional damage from perks such as Black Widow, Hunter, Living Anatomy. Bloody Mess etc. get multiplied by the critical hit bonus, or does it get added after the crit bonus is calculated and applied?

Critical hit bonus is applied on to critical hit chance not damage.

I think you've missed the question as your response makes no sense. He's asking about critical damage not the chance to critical. In relation to damage boosting perks.

Certain perks add to damage, black widow, laser commander, bloodymess or living anatomy. What he want's to know is does that extra damage get added to the bonus critical damage. Example, the AER14 laser rifle deals 36dmg and an additional 36dmg on a critical hit, with laser commando, bloody mess and lord of death it deals 46dmg a shot would it also deal an extra 46dmg on a critical hit or just +36. That I believe is his question. However I don't know the answer to it. I believe so, but that doesn't make taking living anatomy or bloodymess worth it for the extra damage.

But, there are perks like Cowboy that +25% damage, and hand-load ammo like .308 JSP that 1.5x DAM. It would be nice to know if the crit damage is calculated before or after these damage modifiers are applied.

They are applied after the calculation (Normal Dam + Crit Dmg + Crit Bonus - DT). Also they are not added but multiplied - a big difference some people miss. So having Cowboy, 308 JSP Ammo, Bloddy Mess and Living Anatomy gives a multiplier bonus of 1.25 X 1.5 X 1.05 X 1.05 = 2.07 not 1.85.

Great info, thank you, sir :foodndrink:

EDIT:
Although, I suppose to clarify in this example, that it is not possible to have Cowboy and .308 JSP active in the same calculation (as none of the weapons that Cowboy apply to are chambered in .308). I was just mentioning those two as being a more significant damage modifier than say Bloody Mess or Living Anatomy.
