The year is 3E 137. The period of civil war among mortals, after nearly ten years, has at last came to a violent conclusion. Potema, Wolf Queen of Solitude, has been defeated in her city. Those provinces caught in the war are recovering from a most damaging blow.Meanwhile, it is a dark time for the dwellers of Illiac Bay as a clandestine warfare ensues, catching victims into its bloody web. The land is suffering from a ever increasing conflict between rival vampiric clans; Anthosis, Vraseth, Lyrezi, and the Montalion. Their aggressive territorial expansion and competition for food costing lives of local farmers and villagers, as well as more prominent members of society. Their predation has gained the interest of an order of vampire hunters, composed of formerly afflicted vampires. Everyone is on edge, because they know they are seen by The Eyes of the Night.
The Anthosis Bloodline has recently called a meeting at a small fortress directly south of Sentinel
