This is why CoD sells year after year after year & all these other company's who want to dethrone them can't. They at least let the community know whats going on & they actually patch the bugs in the game. Come May this game will be dead with the rest of the trash that failed. Duke Nukem & Brink both releasing in May. I'm not a fan of CoD I actually hate that damn franchise. I'm a resistance man myself but to each there own.

Duke Nukem is only a SP game, and I heard is only 8 hours long.
Brink looks stupid.

And COD sells because its Hyped up the ***!
COD4 was the only good one, the rest are all S.S.D.D.

Tbh black ops was a buggy , laggy pile of poop for many many months. It sold based on ppl being sheep and a lot of hype. It's fundamentally a decent fps in mp, but it's not the greatest and it was as bad as crysis 2 online if not worse for 6 months or so, but ppl seem to forge that when a new fps comes out and expect perfection off the bat. Kz3 and crysis 2 been hammered for being buggy and not finished properly( rightly so) , but all fps are same in modern gaming , as publishers put huge pressure on devs to ge them out as quick as possible and then patch up later. Black ops was same , but now ppl seem to just forget that , bc2 was same etc etc. Some ppl who buy the game get lucky , I was unlucky with black ops( ps3 and 360 I tried both), others got lucky and it worked for them no problems, but crysis and kz3 were both fine for me, whilst others were having huge issues.
The game still has horrible hit detection though even though I got no lag issues

Resistance is a far better game than COD, Crysis or the Battlefield series thats my opinion an i'm sticking with it...

the only decent game out in the last 6 months has been Killzone 3 that was near perfect the only thing that let it down was lack of maps...

All other games have been bug riddeled lag fests... you'd think if your going to release a game you'd make sure the f**ker worked first !!!!!

When they work out that dedicated servers are what we need for multiplayer is the day the world will be a better place the amount of money we pay for games we deserve a decent server not this P2P ****

That's my point , everyone seems to have different experiences online with these games. Some are lucky , others are unlucky.
I had months of lag and shocking lag and hit detection on black ops, literally getting shot by someone facing opposite direction or melleing thin air, getting shot around corners , multiple clips in someone's head to die with one shot etc.

Look at kz3 forum it's full of ppl crying bout lag and stuff( or was most ppl stopped playing now as they got pissed off with game's issues), same applied to black ops with ppl claiming it was mess, whilst others had no issues at all.

So I wouldn't think any other game guarantees u online trouble free gaming from release day unless they got dedicated servers.
