"The Fall Of NCR": Would you read this?

So I was thinking about writing my own fan fic. This would be my first fan fic, but I'm no stranger to Fallout. I was thinking of an alternate history of the events leading up to the Battle of Hoover Dam alluded to in Fallout New Vegas with the plot based off of the Shakesperean drama, Julius Caesar. In my retelling, Ceasar's Legion was actually an existing group in the NCR military and polotics, run by the NCR president who took on the name of Caesar. While Caesar continues to expel raiders and tribals from NCR territory, the rest of the Senators are weary that Caesar will take power for himself and dissolve the republic in favor of his own empire. The Senators therefore decide to form a conspiracy to assasinate Caesar, before his power gets out of hand.

The question exists, would anybody be intrested in reading this?

An interesting concept without question, but Shakespeare(and history) has already ruined the ending for us. However this is still a very original and clever direction to go towards for a fan-fiction. Fallout 3 already had references to the Roman Empire, with Colonel Augustus Autumn, referencing Caesar Augustus.

I would suggest going over some basic roman mythology about the origin of Rome, and maybe using it as a point of reference when talking about the rise of Caesar's Legion. In the opening of New Vegas they say he conqured and untied 86 tribes. That doesn't sound easy. And when the hell did this guy decide to rebuild the Roman Empire in America? That would be an alternative to consider.
