Once upon a time, back in 2002, a Fallout bible was made. I't answered many question's,an may have left many more wanting to be answered.

It would be fun, but I wouldn't be satisfied if it were writen by anyone exept Chris or maybe someone else that is ex-Black Isle

Im pretty sure the reason Avellone can t update it is because Bethesda owns it now.

Bethesda says its canon as long as not contradicted by a game.

I wouldn t want anyone but him touching it x black isle or not. It will more than likely stay like that forever though.

I wonder if Bethesda has a Lore Keeper, Kinda like Lucas has his Keeper of the Holocron. if theres not, Can I apply for the job?

Well, my hope it that Bethesda keeps Obsidian on board, and askes Avellone (if he even wanted to) to keep up on the bible.

Avellone does a great job of leaving holes and not backing dev teams into corners in the fo bible. If I was Bethesda I would trust that he would continue on the same path he started. Again if he even wanted to do it.

He answers questions, but at the same times doesn t closd doors, and IMO that is what you want from the guy telling the story outside of the games.

I also hope they keep Obsidian on board so more ground can be covered in the series, and fo games come out faster overall.
