i would like to see fallout take place in my hometown, Houston, Tx, game developers always pick the obvious locations for their game NY, Vegas, ect... something that has not been done before would be nice
The Commonwealth! The Freedom Trail, Bunker Hill Fanual(sp) Hall, MIT, Fenway Park. Harold could be a Maple tree up North. Muties with Boston accents. Mirelurk chowder.
You mean for Fallout 4? I'd like to see Chicago. Let's see how the windy city turned out after blowing radiation everywhere. I think Florida would be much too hot. Seems more like a vacation spot for aging ghouls than anything. What would the main quest be, finding a guy's dentures? I kid, but I would like to see Chicago. Pretty much the entire map could be ruined buildings and towards the north it could be more snowy to make up the wasteland/desert/etc. region of the game while the south could be more of the downtown ruins where all the raiders, mutants, etc. live. And we could bring in an Albino Deathclaw as a new species. ;]
NY, I know it sounds stereotypical but just think about it youre walking through an old road flooded with destroyed cars and while moving between them you hear feral ghouls throught the dense fog up ahead and out they pour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just would like to see somewhat more accurate portrayals of the locations they already have used. I was very disappointed in "The Pitt" . Having been born and raised in the "Burgh" i was very excited about The Pitt add-on but that excitement was quickly squashed when I realized how generic the city looked and how small the explorable area is.
Apart from being very close to me, so I'd recognise a lot of the place (Well, I recognise the DC monuments, but I've never been to the USA), it would be good to see how the rest of the world has coped with a Nuclear Holocaust, rather than just America. Would the Enclave be in these countries too, or would there be new factions etc etc etc
The Seattle/Greater Puget Sound area. a major downtown area, military bases, mirelurks would be everywhere... we even have old Seattle underground that could be explored. Plus I'd love to see the Space Needle in ruins
ACTUALLY: Detroit's getting A LOT better. Still has a ways to go, but things are on the upswing . . . if only Michigan's economy would get moving . . . we've been in a recession for 10-years now.
Or any of those East-Europoean/Slavic type countries.
I think those kind of places give for a more desolate/bleak atmosphere. Something that Stalker manages to capture where FO3 doesn't - something to do with post WWII decimation - I wish I could explain it better...
Most of the famous capital cities of the world. Paris, France; London, England; Stockholm, Sweden; Tokyo, Japan, Beijing, China; All with their own iconic City Icon (Redundant?)
