Place-able map markers. That would be nice.

How about http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8172? It adds five placeable map markers, hidden in various locations around the Wasteland.

- I'd like a mod that lets me barter with everyone. T.R.A.S.C.H is nice but no one has anything to trade and it has too many periods.

-- And something that adds towns/cities. All the ones that were in development stopped. Or something that improves previous cities. They all disappoint me.

--- Economy?

---- I need moar stealth. I already have instant stealth kills in.

Sorry if these all are mods already, I really don't feel like posting in detectives.

Most of my wishes have already been mentioned but here's my take on them:
Someone mentioned Argonians. I would like to have the frogs from Hell Comes to Frogtown
The ability to right-click the map and add a note. Either any old place or just on existing locations. They don't need to be fast travel-able, just notes. In addition to that, a "note book" tab in the pip-boy. Using the keyboard would be easiest, but an iPhone style on screen keyboard you had to click on would be more immersive Or, the pencils and clipboards you find.
Separate pants, shirts and shoes, as has been mentioned. Also, if you are naked inside your power armor it's gonna get pretty funky in there. You should have long johns to wear underneath, or just by themselves. Long johns, Yeah!
Booby trapped corpses. Player, NPC, and enemies could fall victim to this.
Corpses should attract wild dogs, bloat flies, and mole rats.
Crossbows. Craftable and findable on Raiders. You could also craft poison arrows.

The more I think about it, the more I want Long-johns. They should have stains under the arm pits and the button flap on the butt. But I want to wear them in addition to clothes. I loved how in Morrowind you could wear pants, shirt, armor and a robe! It got a little overwhelming trying to match gloves but sheesh...in FO3 clothes are kinda lame that way.

Mod, that allowes the player to work for Enclave as a secret agent.
What can the player do:
-talk the father into working for Enclave too
-find Geck, give it to Autumn
-convince Autumn that Eden is right and stop the inside conflict in Enclave
-put FEV into water
-re-program Liberty Prime so he will turn hostile to the BoS (while going to the purifier)
-get even with BoS (may be done in different ways)> 1.bring poisoned food which will kill most of the soldiers, 2.kill them silently in a ninja-style, 3.bomb the Citadel.

How will the player join Enclave? In Megaton in Nathan's house you meet a person who will recruit you.

The closest you'll get to that is The Eagle Has Landed.

Birds! You see them circling in the distance, but we need them as creatures in the game. Vultures that come to feed on corpses, they might also attack a crippled PC. Eagles that dive at you from high above, the only warning that you get is a ear-piercing scream just before the impact. Like the Cliff-Racers in Morrowind. (Not to many of them, because the first mod I did download for Morrowind reduced the number of Cliffracers. :) )

I already have this mod, it's just brilliant! But my requests concerns the option for Lone Wanderer to join Enclave. Quite different thing.

Wish #1 Support for WMK in EVE (i know this is planned, so i don't know if it really counts as a wish)
Wish #2 Unique Landscapes for FO3
Wish #3 a function in fose that would allow me to sort my pipboy notes
Wish #4 that someone makes another quest similar to a trail of crumbs, by far one of the best and most under rated quest mods

That's all i can think of for now.

I'd love to see a mod that added all kinds of Civil War, World War I, and World War II military weapons and armor to the Museum of History. Stuff that fit in (like worn/dirtied textures) and was time period appropriate stuff without overhauling the rest of the wasteland spawn lists.

Is it possible to link a container to a work bench? So you could toss all your crafting items in a container that sits next to your work bench and then when you use your work bench, the work bench "reads" the inventory in the container as well as your own to see if you have the parts to make something. I know I could just grab the parts out of conainers and various sorters ... this is just me being lazy :D

A death claw mount, implemented like the horses in Oblivion, with saddlebags. I try to limit my use of fast travel with stuff like FWE, it adds to immersion and makes the map feel bigger, but walking is a little tedious if you're trying to make caps.

@ Spite
Check out Underground Hideout - all that and a fishtank.

Thought of one, I don't think it exists, I don't even know if it's possible.

Say, you want to install a body mod. But you don't want everyone going commando. Just you. Everyone else still wears underwear they can't remove. Player Character is the only one going commando, yeah.

Nice to see I'm not the only one that thinks leaving a bunch of bloody, stark naked corpses around everywhere is sort of creepy.

I'd also like to see a nukagrenadelauncher that wasn't a stupidly overpowered godweapon.

All you have to do is make a custom playable race, with the meshes and textures in their own custom directory. Then create an NPC with this race as a facegen preset. I'm not very good with faces, so I just copy one from Project Beauty or some other mod. (these are all for my own use). Everyone else in the game is wearing burlap ;)

Something that I've always wanted is a mod that adds penalties when the player is killed.

Instead of actually being killed (and then just being able to reload my last saved game), I would like to have my character wake up nearby (where there are no immediate enemy threat) a few hours later . . . and find that much of my inventory has been looted. Now THAT would add some immersion . . . and make being killed have an actual consequence.

Wow, that's an awesome idea! To add a little more variation, so depending on the situation you were "killed" in you could find yourself in several situations: For example stripped and surrounded by some raiders with melee weapons who were just waiting until you woke up so they could beat/torture you to death, or when killed by super mutans in the basemant of some random hideout, holed up with some more prisoners.

For fun (fun?) I tried setting my timescale to 1 and using the wait menu to sync it up with realtime, the trouble is you'd really need a timescale of about 2:1 to keep them synced because of all the time spent talking and in menus. So I'd like a mod that keeps track of how long you're in menumode, then sets the clock ahead by that amount when you exit.

Also the alternate death idea sounds totally doable.

I was looking for a mod that makes super mutants friendly. It may not be lore-friendly, but I don't really see any reason that supers would attack every human on sight. To be honest, I see them as a kind of neanderthal. They don't like humans, and humans don't like them, so they avoid each other whenever possible and don't fight unless either provoked or they have to.

So yeah... Anyone?

If I could wish for anything, I would wish for a world-space that is the size of Washington DC, in real life. If it takes you 20 minutes to walk down a street in Washington, it should take you that long in the game. I would want realistic sized towns, too (IE Old Olney should be the same size as the various divisions of Olney). And just to make my request completely unreasonable, make most/all buildings explorable.

You're walking down the street in real life, running in Fallout. I've done the same thing. Freaky how much detail they got.
