The Fallout 3 Modding Wishlist Thread

- Weapon Mods Compatible w/ WMK I was thinking about this a while ago. Why don't I ever see people creating weapons with patches for WMK? That would be awesome to be able to download someone's weapon pack and be able to use WMK with it.

- Alpha Protocol Weapons From the commercials all I know about the game is that its about espionage and that the Rittergroupen Grizzly looks awesome and has a badass name. I would love to see someone recreate the UC Regulator and the Rittergroupen Grizzly for Fallout 3.

-Plague Doctor Masks C'mon, why WOULDN'T you want plague doctor masks in Fallout!? I've only seen one mod that hasn't been updated in quite a while, but the mask wasn't to my liking. I would love to see a mask with a much longer beak, seperate from the hat so that I could wear it with hoods/other hats/helmets. Something big like http://th04.deviantart.net/fs21/300W/i/2007/288/c/2/Plague_Doctor_Final_Portrait_by_zyanthia.jpg

Great idea! I have a mod that changes all the terminals into laptops. If I could also pick one up and cart it around, using it as a 'diary' now and then, that'd be great :hehe:

Currently, nothing I've wished for in this thread is being worked on. At least to my knowledge.

Because of the way mods work it's generally it's up to the designer of the WMK mod to do compatibility patches. Do you really expect him to make these for every weapon mod out there?

That's a G36 and there are already any number of mods with that gun included. You need only to use the search function on Nexus.

well I want to try some modding so I'm gonna give your bread idea a go, and maybe I'll add some other food as well

Anymore food requests would be helpful

I just remembered something I PM'd Foxtrot Zulu a while ago, thought I'd mention it here.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7526 is very close to what you stated right. He only appears on sundays and isn't your carbon copy but I'm pretty sure a serial killer makes more sense than a Dark LoneWanderer up in your game.

Pie! Everyone loves pies :twirl:

Other ideas that you can use or pass by:
Cupcakes
Cookies
Pastries (pinkie finger pastie for those vampire wannabes)
Candies (ghoul eye jawbreaker comes to mind lol)
Bread slices (I always wondered why there was a toaster in Vault 101, but no bread slices anywhere)
Cake
Brahman milkshake (well, people need to cool down with something refreshing lol)
Cheese

Well, those three have been done already, actually... in a mod called http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3809 (the cake is more of a cheesecake, but still). Sadly, I don't think it's being updated anymore. Still nice though. WanderingRogue, maybe you could ask the creator if you could use them in some form?

I've been a fan of doppelgangers ever since fighting Dark Link in Zelda: OoT. And the TESIV:SI was so well done I'd love to see something like I described in FO3.

That is an interesting mod though. I may have to give it a download.

http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6338 has Shoofly Pie and an honest to goodness Miss. Quantum Pie (think pumpkin, only glowy and purple), if that's what you're looking for... see the screenies for an example...

Sorry everyone, I was only giving WanderingRogue some suggestions for food to sell :)

@ Coleen, You won my heart with your mod! Coffee!! I love the fact we have to search for the cookbooks before we can make the food, and it makes great use out of many things that I wish there was a use for!

That particular armor isn't exactly what we had in mind. It's too revealing in certain areas yet not skimpy enough in others. I sent Star a pic of my wish which exists for Oblivion but noone will touch it for Fallout 3.

I can't mention my main wish without causing an uprising so I'll echo Miss Sparkle's squirrel wish. I also wanted Mutfruit plants but that one's recently been granted by Coleen. I wish for a patch allowing Fallout Food to be compatible with FWE.

I don't care if you cause an uprising. Now I am really curious.

One I thought about last night, as I impatiently waited for my Stealthboy to wear off - Dispel. Obviously spells are no good, but a bottle of something that'll immediately remove the effect I have on myself would be great :) As I use FWE most chems and effects last longer than usual.

Also, I may have to learn how to do it myself, but more male stuff - even just edited vanilla outfits. There's a female leather armor that has the midsection cut out, nothing overly exposing, just different. Something like that. Of course I wouldn't say no to anything even skimpier. I'd like an equal amount of semi-naked men in my game as there are women. I only know of three modders who would mod male stuff, and they don't seem to be around anymore :(
I have the ideas, tutorials and programs I just haven't attempted anything yet. That one, I think, I'll have to do myself as the majority of modders are male as they won't (usually) touch anything male, and anything "skimpier" than a t-shirt is a big no no. Apparently. That's the impression I've gotten during my time here, anyway.

Dispel Potion would be good, though.

If you don't share the ideas, surely no one is going to do them.

I want on'a those Canadian caps, you know. I think they'd look really nice on my characters, don't you, eh?

Far Cry 2 style wait and sleep visuals - Fallout3 sort of makes a lame attempt, but I want something in full resolution, with a cinematographic-ally placed (and non-stopmotion) camera. Just place the player somewhere nearby, freeze their controls, and jack the timescale way up for a bit.

Also, as far as making unique weapons goes, Weapon Mod Kits is 90% of the way there. There's a FOSE command that will let you change the name of an object. Combine those two with a vendor or terminal where you can choose a configuration, and you've got it. You could then base damage and accuracy on ammo type.

I already said. Dispel Potion, or something similar.
I know no one will make skimpy male clothing or armor so there's no point in wishing for that one. I'll have to do that one myself.

I would like more than anything a FWE compatible mod which makes the Cyborg perk give you built in night vision. Maybe you could choose whether you got it for the first rank or one of the later ones? (I'm thinking third rank.) Also, some sort of visible external cybernetics would be nice. Nothing too borg like, maybe just a shiny bit here or there, or mechanical looking eyes that could glow in different colors? (WHERE IS SARAH CONNAH?!) Maybe the pip boy interface could be implanted into the arm, or somehow integrated into the eye? Some sort of actual appearance change for barkskin perk, or antennae for the ant sight/might perk?
I would really like my character to actually look like the bionic gene-spliced monstrosity that he is.

Is that a console command?

Whenever I use setactorfullname it doesn't appear to work.

You are awesome.

Everyone in Megaton gets a name in celebration.

Also, I'd like to know if there a command like that for containers, so I can label them as I please.
