I already bought this, actually. My first playthrough of 1 and 2 and I loved them both [but didn't care for Tactics].

I object to calling it a "trilogy" on the grounds that the story of each game is stand-alone and that there is no overreaching plot arc.

Still--good find! Three good video games for only 20$!

The first is from '98. Give it a break. Anyway, it's stupid to judge a game based on the graphics. Final Fantasy VII was one of the greatest games ever, and it looked like someone had a bowel movement on your TV.

Too late for me. I already wasted my money buying a copy of Fallout Collection from Amazon, and I never received it. I'm not interested in spending more money trying to get these games.

That, my friend was hilarious and very true. The original fallout's are amazing even if the graphics are outdated.

lol of course you are completely right, but it is something i probably wouldnt go back to unless it was on a handheld like the DS.... final fantasy 2 was a perfect adition to the DS!!!, just with all the aditional features oblivion / fallout have given, id find it hard to even go back and play morrowind again

Ah... That svcks. What dose Interplay do now?

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, Setember 23, 2008 ? Interplay Entertainment Corp. (OTC BB:IPLY) announced today the launch of an all-new web site at www.interplay.com.

The site, developed over the last several months, is designed to improve the company's communication with customers, investors, and partners. The new site includes forums based on past and future Interplay games, a customer support section, detailed information on the company and its products, and much more.

The company also announced that Chris Taylor, a game designer who was a part of the original Fallout game development team at Interplay in 1994, has rejoined the company. Taylor will serve as Lead System Designer for "Project V13," the working title of Interplay's next generation Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO) currently in development. Taylor joins other original Fallout team members on staff at Interplay's internal game studio, which recently opened an office in Irvine, Calif. Additional development staff members continue to be hired as the project ramps-up.

Good Old Games(gog.com) sells the Fallout games for $5.99 each. Comes out to less than this bundle and I can exclude the godawful Tactics.

If you're running Vista, I recommend getting all 3 games from gog.com. Their versions are optimized for Vista. And cheaper too. $15 for all 3 instead of $20..

Those graphics svck even by standards of the day, but I have played games with outdated graphics that were great, again though most of them at the time of there release the graphics were pretty good. But its harder if you did not play the game the first time around for example I remember thinking what an awesome looking world beth created for Morrowind, which now is crap(ignore the graphic mods for a moment) for the new player, but for me, even with out mods the graphics still have there charm and the water still looks great!

The thing is that its not. Its compiled against the NT kernel, so if Interplays version(and its that one they sell).

Well, whatever they're compiled against, they all work on my Vista 64 machine. My original F1 and F2 discs do not..

word!

note for german players and everyone else suffering from censorship: the Fallout Trilogy generally comes up with the original uncut versions of Fallout 1 & 2. the other game is cut, at least in the german release.
