The Fangs of the Tsaesci RP idea sign-up thread

Will the food/fighting room already have people in it? also, what foods on display?
Assuming i'm to be the first character into it, i'd like to give it the description it deserves

Yes, Tsaesci will already be training, as well as passengers who have been on the boat longer than the current group. It'll be dark, lit by torches. the food on display will be exotic fruits, like starfruit and those horned melon things

also there will be salted meats, but from animals you don't recognize. you're free to describe the taste however you want.

ALSO: for reference the boat itself is similar to a polynesian catamaran, though much larger, multileveled, and the lower levels are enclosed. The sails are large, gold and black. The framework and masts of the boat are not made from wood, but a bone-like material. The rest of it is wooden, though. I also feel I should mention. Due to Saresh being aboard, there are no stairs. Ramps will lead from one deck to another to accommodate his physiology.

I've corrected my post to fit these descriptions. And yes, if anyone is wondering about size, look at chinese treasure ships. It's truly gigantic.

A maormer? intriguing. I hope you are taking influence from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Wolf_Queen,_v4 and the aztec or mayan cultures to base his or her background around.
To the point of sloads encounters with Pyandonea, the maormer don't seem to be as callous as the altmeri, hell.. I wouldn't be surprised if they made regularly contact.

Since they both share the interest of eliminating the regime of the Summerset Isles to claim it as their own and destroy the golden usurpers.

That doesn't mean his character can't be afraid of sload. though the horror stories about them might even still be told "Be good or the sload will eat you!"

Perhaps keep your character afriad of Sloads, but i wouldnt reccomend being petrified. That way you can play with your characters emotions, but keep from causing too much of a disturbing scene ;)

Yes, I recommend this as well. For if the maormer causes too much distress, I'm sure the sload's servants will throw him over board.

Name: Saron Valor

Age: 25

Race: Nord mother father unknown

Gender: male

Height: 6,0

Birthsign: the steed

Appearance: Long blond hair, Blue eyes, muscular slightly larger than usual

Class (what would you describe your character as?): warrior

Skills and known spells (if any): one handed:(duel wielding only), two handed:(great-axes only) heavy armor, destruction(VERY LOW) fist fighting(if need be able to fight hand to hand, could throw a small Breton 3ft with all his power) , lightning bolt is the only known spell, there is another but that will be hidden for a while(more info in background)

Clothing / armor: a set of custom steel armor marked with a long lost emblem no helmet needed

Weapons: twin dwarven war axes, and a ANCIENT marked with the same emblem as his armor ebony two-handed axe a relic perhaps?(more in background)

Miscellaneous items: N/A

Personality: passive, self reliant, thinks all he needs is himself thus would prefer to work alone or charge head first into battle, very noble, able to work with others if he respects them, difficult to trust people but when you earned his trust he will die for you (seems to be easier to talk to if the character is a young imperial female....wonder why)

Major flaw: slightly stuck up, doesn't know anyone on this trip thus trusting none of them therefore isn't talking much

Background: when he was younger in his 20's he traveled skyrim and cyrodiil looking for a cure for his were-wolf plague, then he met a khajiit who knew a cure for were-lions of elsweyr from this information Saron was able to cure his illness my murdering the one who cursed him. he was trained to be a gladiator in the imperial arena,
his old mentor trained many students at one time but saron was the one he taught the secret of lightning,
now that his were-wolf is cured he met his old mentor agian proving he was more than able to make this trip should he survive and assist the nation his old mentor has promised to teach him how to master his lightning as well as the hidden spell i mentioned earlier. (the old crests on his armor): apparently is the armor and crest of his family as is the ebony great-axe titled "the honor-bound" (which is useless from its age why he is carrying it is unknown)

so in short
saron was cursed with the power of the were-wolf, cured himself, and should he succeed in his mission his old mentor will reward him with mastery of his lightning magic, he is able to use it but gives him slight headaches to use, especially when he uses ALLOT of his power

Accepted. You can start off anywhere on the ship, except the lower decks.

Remember that Orc Saresh noticed earlier? I just thought of a decent way to liven things up in the training room. Remember kids, try to avoid pissing off giant snake-men.

Lol that has a little to do with why my character is being a bit of a kiss-ass. It's unwise to provoke something when you have no idea how dangerous it is.

Almaric only annoys hooded Nords, Apparently, so he wont be getting in the way of your snake-folk ;)

yup we're still on the boat. also, I'm planning something special, and your character seems a good fit. I'll PM you about it

EDIT: also, had a thought. the Tsaesci that are fighting hand-to-hand would probably be using a fighting style similar to Snake style kung fu. In saresh's case, he wouldn't be able to kick, and would thus strike with his tail. Any objections? Thoughts? Cries that this doesn't make any sense?

I love the little reference you put in your RP post, disturbing. Makes D'vatla's thoughts more cohesive with everything around him.
