We have instances of controlling robotics with thoughts. Its been done with Chimps, (and will probably be done with aircraft weapon systems ~my assumption).
I hope this leads to thought controlled cybernetics for the disabled.

**There is also this to think about.

(Ever read "When Gravity Fails" ?)

I actually have a prototype cybernetic prosthetic arm that responds to VERY basic mental commands. It has a sensative network of fibers along the outside of it that can tell me basic things. It's pressure sensative and can tell hot from cold, stuff like that. Although whenever I use the microwave I piss myself and pass out for 40 minutes. There's kinks to work out.

Yeah, except that you can't fight dragons, pillage castles and villages, and slaughter innocents in real life, dude. Not to mention the more wholesome things TES has, like mixing a potion of invisibility, or joining and rising through the ranks of a guild of mages.

I'll leave the dragon slaying to you then my good man. :foodndrink:

This is just ****ing awesome. Trying to get back to the topic of TES games in the future I would love to see a game with all of Tamriel (and Akavir) on 1:1 scale. Make it MMO, or don't, idc. Still be [censored] cool.

I hope you don't mean the urinating and passing out part.

TES tries to support a virtual world ~so I would assume it will approach VR for as long as they continue to make them; and get closer and closer as consumer technology improves.

I meant [censored] awesome like funny as hell so yes I did mean that lol. Mainly because not only is the fact that said person has a working one (though they are being worked on), a microwave wouldn't do anything to it. So it was just plain funny.

By 2030 we'll all be able to jack our brains into a computer generated simulation of Tamriel and live there while our bodies are kept alive in specially designed bio-pods we pay Bethesda a monthly subscription for. ;)

Sounds like my kind of future.

I would love an Elder Scrolls game spread across Tamriel. I would hate how long I'd hafta wait for it.
