so i was wondering about what happened to other major cities in the fallout universe like new york and L.A.
i think that new york city itself would be a wasteland and there would be a small corner of it left populated by only ghouls and the rest would be called the manhattan wasteland. staten island would be a new city as well i bet.
L.A. would be the hollywood wasteland. cant think of anything besides that.

so what are ur views on the fates of other cities?

As for NYC, I'm biased so I'm certainly hoping as little as possible survived :hehe: However going through some of those enormous museum complexes would be pretty awesome.

For NYC I would like to see Manhattan fighting against the rest of the city.....

Giant mutated sea monster out in the water swimming around, just waiting for some fisherman or svcker to go swimming out far enough. Nice sun shinning on the white sandy beaches, while you sit watching the Sea Monster with a completely ruined and blown to hell Miami in the background... Ah, paradise!

We nuked the hell out of China, so they're no better.

Also "entire continents were swallowed by the boiling oceans" in the Fallout 2 intro. That can't be good.


Anyway, I think that the NYC area would be better as the Empire Wasteland. With DLCs for Long Island and West Point (Hometown FTW). I know that everyone says "OMG, NYC is in every game, stop it!" You guys forget that Fallout has the magic touch. They made Reno look good for christsakes.

New York would be a great setting Liberty island would be "LIBERTY LOST" the mother of all slaver camps Brooklyn would be teething with different Clans of Mercs the City that never sleeps new logo "THE CITY THAT NEVER QUITS..
