Of late I've been working with a couple of mods which give you Dwemer teleporters, much like those found in Star Trek. One of the teleporters was even a mere bonus for a larger mod that was mainly about Dwemer mines! Thing is, these things got me thinking about the mysterious overnight disappearance of the Dwemer. No race simply vanishes literally overnight into thin air, unless of course it had help...I'm wondering if the modders accidentally stumbled on something with these "teleporters". Maybe these teleporters could be seen as small remnants of something much, much bigger which allowed the Dwemer to literally disappear, if not to another place then maybe to another dimension? Honestly speaking, I can't see any logical alternative explanation for such an abrupt disappearance other than through technology.
