Favorite time of day is either just after a rain fall when the sun comes out and a rainbow is in the sky or a clear night so I can see the stars and moons in the night sky. Favorite weather is clear and dry, day or night,

The polls leaves out what would have been my overall preference, mid-morning through mid afternoon on a sunshiny day. That said, I enjoy almost all atmospheric conditions and times of day. Overcast skies would be my least favorite, due to their making everything so drab. On the other hand, I quite enjoy powerful storms (helped by the mod Storms and Sound).

Up until recently I'd have rated night-time as a favorite. I no longer can. Not the game's fault. My beloved ancient Viewsonic VP191b 1280x1024 LCD monitor, after years of faithful service, bit the dust. That thing had gorgeous deep blacks that, despite the darkness, showed a lot of detail. My two modern 1920x1080 monitors black levels are crappy in comparison, due, I think, to their back-lighting. Whatever the cause, neither in able to produce a truly black night sky, giving evenings a somewhat washed out look with missing details. This also makes for less contrast with light sources such as torches, stars and lit windows. (Oddly, Minecraft doesn't seem as affected in this regard as Oblivion, but I might just be less picky there.)

ADDENDUM: I should point out that I run a number of mods that affect night skies....a darkener, falling stars, a nebula, possibly one or two others that escape me.

Buffy was born on a sunny day at the exact moment of sunrise. And that's the way she likes it.

The sunrises for me. Though the sunsets on the Gold Coast are breathtaking as well. I picked the moderately bright sunlight for the second, because bright sunlight can make taking screenshots difficult, by washing out, or simply overwhelming colors on characters with light skin or reflective armor.

I can't answer the poll. My choice is all of the above, except for fog. (A little fog in Blackwood is okay, but I've had a recurring bug where massively close-in fog instantly appears at random times and places, even in the planes of Oblivion. Now anytime I get fog I go "No! Not again!").

+1000000000000000

Sorry for the boring answer, but I really can′t vote here. The variety is what does it for me weather-wise.

Sunrise, snowy. Speaking of which, I think I am loading up Oblivion again, for the first time in over a month.

i voted bright sunlight, a bit into the morning. It's as if Cyrodriil herself is beaming of untold adventures that lay in wait.

After weeks of this, I finally pinned down the source of my fog problems. (Turns out there's a point in the KOTN questline that forces the weather to be constantly foggy ). So I fixed that and now I can love all the weather types, including fog, again.

For the weather portion I didn't vote. Only because of the omission of 'Clear Weather'.

Just before night when it's cloudy.

The rain reminds me too much of home although it is rather sunny right now.

I use Weather Control mod set to Foggy all the time. It makes for a haunting atmosphere and stabilizes the graphics.

It's a good thing you cleared that up. Around these parts you can be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail for admitting you like "that series." Why, just last month I heard a shocking story about a young girl who proclaimed her love for a certain handsome vampire. She was chased into an abandoned windmill by angry forum members with torches and pitchforks. The mob set fire to the place and it burned to the ground. The poor girl escaped with her life but her face was irreparably scarred from the flames. Ashamed to face the world, she retreated to the cellars below the Paris Opera House where she plays the organ and is known only by the name Le Fant?me. True story.

Just before sunset would be my favourite. I love the snow but I don't like the way the snow moves with you instead of you moving through it.

REVIVE SPELL!

*Casting sounds from Morrowind.*

Just before sunset is really nice when you're strolling around the flowery fields near Chorrl,I believe,it's even nicer when the weather is very clear.

Ahhhh so relax....OH DEER COME BACK I NEED THE 5 GOLD I GET FROM YOUR MEAT AND HIDE!
