Seems that there are many factions thread in the FoNV section, i thought it would be nice to compare the main factions of the franchise.

As there are many factions in the franchise, i tried to focus in faction that appear in more than one game or factions that are importants for the plots of a specific episode, like the legion, or the New Reno families.

In some case, i put two factions that are very linked together, even if antagonistic, because of the poll limited options.

Personnally i find hard to pick a faction that remained my favorite all the way.

I would say the Unity, but they weren't treated well in every episodes.

The darker sides of the NCR/BOS are nice to explore too, but not all episodes allow their depht to be expressed.

If i had to pick a one-game faction, it would probably be a New Reno Family or Vault City. There is so much to do with them.

Anyway, more in-depth factions, the better.

PS: This is not a BOS vs NCR thread. It would be nice not to focus on pitting two faction agains't each other.

I voted for the New Reno families. I liked how you could choose a side, have an effect on who ended up ruling the town.

In general I found New Reno to be an interesting place.

The New Reno Families, Caesar's Legion, House, Followers of the Apocalyspe, Khans, and Enclave are among my favorites.

If I had to choose one, I'd be torn between New Reno Families and House. New Reno is probably my favorite settlement in all of Fallout, and seeing another sin city like New Vegas, it's rather difficult to decide between the two and their factions.

I haven't made a poll in years, but didn't it once (or still) offer radio button choices instead of check boxes? One [committed] choice instead of several.
Currently the "Other (all)" option can be checked along with all the rest; this ether splits to vote, or doubles the vote depending how you look at it. Since users can vote for all of them anyway, it's a redundant choice that will skew the vote.

Lyons, EC Enclave, Talon Co, and Regulators. Would've voted for NCR too but i just can't stand that dog-ugly armor their troopers wear.

If i am not wrong, it is a double head bear, not a dog.

No no it's just an American (I think at least) phrase. He's not talking about it having a dog on the armor. Believe me I know how they can be confused a lot.

Nothing beats the Fallout 1 factions and MWBoS for me

Followers of the Apocalypse - I love how they try and clear up the mess, to find a different way to move forward aside from war.
