The February Game Informer Cover Thread III

Post » Mon Apr 19, 2010 2:45 am

Any volunteers? It isn't that important to me but I, like everyone else, would like to get my info FRESH from the mag if possible.

I don't think it really matters, whoever opens the next thread will update the first post for as long as that thread lasts. It doesn't have to be just one person for all of them.

Anyone who knows if the info in the magazine will be published on Skyrims homepage?

If anyone has the online magazine subscription (like me) you always get the magazine early through email. No need for checking the mailbox.

I don't think it's scans. The magazine is originally created in PDF form as a mastercopy. They just gave the file to Bethesda.

Well, I hope so. It's a lot easier for them to just email it to you than to ship out actual copies. I got last months issue on the December 8, while my brother didn't get his copy until around a week later. The clerk at Gamestop told me online receivers get them sooner than mail receivers.

Remember also that GI tends to have "hubs" on their website showing off videos and wallpapers between cover reveals and actual distribution, and on for a little while after. So don't worry, physical magazine or not we can get some juicy stuff.

More than likely next week. Magazines are named for the month that they get pulled from the shelves. Meaning this current issue that contains Skyrim is coming out in January and will be pulled from the shelves in February, hence it's the February issue.

I can't believe it's just two days away... After all these years, all these posts we've been making, all the speculation and hoping, and in a mere two days, we'll finally have a piece of concrete art. And just another few days before the game is blown open and we get to see some in-depth content. It's an amazing feeling.

GameStop owns Game Informer, they should have them at your local store.
