The February Game Informer Cover Thread III

Post » Sun Apr 18, 2010 11:06 pm

Is GI a pretty exclusive magazine? I had assumed I could pick it up at the NEX (Navy Exchange), but it's sounding like GameStop is pretty adamant about being the ones to sell it? I should have checked when I was there earlier I guess.

And I'm hoping for mostly Gameplay information. And I'd like to see if any of my big problems with Oblivion have been fixed as well.

I think the areas that I want to be most impressed by right now are the gameplay and the cities. Some screenshots of the nice, descriptive, PC-friendly interface would definitely impress me as odd as it may sound. No more single-number damage figures next to an icon! Give me ranges! Give me item weights in two decimal places! Oh, and no tabs within tabs. Please.

Then onto the cities - they've become increasingly condensed and increasingly "sterile" feeling - I'm hoping the ones in Skyrim are more interesting.

I can't believe it's just two days away... After all these years, all these posts we've been making, all the speculation and hoping, and in a mere two days, we'll finally have a piece of concrete art. And just another few days before the game is blown open and we get to see some in-depth content. It's an amazing feeling.

I know...It's insane. Two days seems so short but its taking so long. I wish it were here already

Just in case I missed something (there are many posts), will the GI be available at Gamestop at 6th January?

I highly doubt it. The 6th is just when they're being shipped out.

The magazine will be in store around the 15th. That is what I was told by Gamestop themselves when I called.

I'm assuming no one will have info on the cover for a little while after the 6th.

I don't think it really matters, whoever opens the next thread will update the first post for as long as that thread lasts. It doesn't have to be just one person for all of them.

You cant get the stuff in the quotes though. I would have to email the stuff. It does not matter, I will do it.

By the way, what does he mean by "all black cover"?

This sequel is going to be GTA V its obvious since they put a damn wish list on their website and start talking about it just like they started to talk about TES V just before it was announced

I hope not, GTAV is one of the things that could move all the attention of TESV to it. And we already have L.A Noire coming...

If it was GTA V then it would take the cover. Next month might be GTA V.

Wait, what? All-black cover? If that means what I think it means, that would be hilarious.

Ehh, Im not sure. In my mind, and I'm sure a lot of others, TES V is higher on their wish list compared to GTAV.

Many more people are Grand Theft Auto fans than Elder Scrolls fans. I wouldnt be surprised.

I don't care, ESV is more important :P. GTAV would be awesome, but I care more about ESV.
