The February Game Informer Cover Thread

Post » Tue Jan 12, 2010 1:15 pm

Yeah hopefully that happens again (you told us the good news of the 4 page catch-up of Elder Scrolls). I imagine if you do you'll be getting a lot of pm's (if you catch my drift :hubbahubba: )

OMG, that was horrible!, I got like 40 pm's in an HOUR, HAHA. I won't do that again actually esp now that their are like three times the amount of people on the boards with skyrim announced.

I would just let people know that it's amazing.

and actually that wasn't me, I just was helping antibody out. Some other guy said it, and then kollar confirmed it on his twitter.

Just go to some forum and find someone who scanned it. Simple.

That is not nearly as awesome as having a physical form of the first information known of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.

Its also against the rules on these forums to post a scanned magazine. It will get you banned.

I am sure there are other forums or a website with the info. But in the end its best to support the mag. Unless they don't support your country.

I previously voted that I might get it, but I just found an EB/Gamestop gift card in my wallet that has about $10 on it.

I'm definately getting the February issue now.

Edit: I too will be avoiding any and all forums/websites that may contain information about TES V until I get my hands on a copy of the magazine.

Haha, I also have an EB gift card that I am going to use for the mag. I might even be going to the same EB Games as you if you really do live in Vancouver...

I usually go to the one in Pacific Centre downtown, my dad lives close to Oakridge Centre though, so I sometimes go to the EB there as well.

Edit: now that I think about it, there aren't any other EB's in the city that I know of...

I normally go to the one in Oakridge. I generally just like that mall more. I might be able to convince my parents to take me to white spot there... reading the mag there would be amazing as hell.

Its interesting to find someone on the forums from the same place as me.

There are subscribers in the UK. I am sure there is somewhere you can buy it from, like a store. It is too late to get it via subscription if you sign up now though, I am afraid :( It takes 6 weeks for you to be registered on their mailing list. Lousy GI.

Does anyone know of a way to get one in Holland? I'd sell my soul to the devil if I had to, just for that one magazine copy

There are other magazines in Europe with the same content. I don't know any names though.

So I'm a subscriber to game informer do I get the online features from their website or is that something seperate?

Check back here on January 6th to see the cover reveal, which is the beginning of an entire month of coverage devoted to Bethesda's latest potential masterpiece.

Also i wonder if they'll do something like http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2010/12/23/official-tomb-raider-wallpapers-for-everyone.aspx with the Skyrim edition. Tomb Raider was the last cover article. Those pictures were like the backround images the text was on.

Thank god I have a subby to GI. I will be getting it in the mail, and soon after encasing it in a bullet-proof case, with an electronic page turner.

No desire to subscribe, as I'm not interested in the gaming world. I will be buying this issue, though.

I've been a subscriber for years now. The news is somewhat slow at times, but it's nice to know when games I care about are coming out, or being announced. Deus Ex Human Revolution for instance.

Sorry didnt read all original posts but I know they have online version of magazine too so you might be able to get it anywhere.. not sure tho. Last time I went to gamestop they tried to get me to switch to online version instead of real copy... think it saves them alot of money that way.

Weird. They did the same thing to me. I got two issues in one week though, so maybe yours is coming still. I don't care if I don't get anymore as long as I get one in February.

If not they have tons at every gamestop for $5

If you get an online subscription then you will get an online copy. I am not sure how to get an online subscription though. I have not seen a way on their site but I know there is a way.

If you want you can email them. http://www.gameinformer.com/p/customerservice.aspx

The link to email them is in a tiny font on the right hand side of the page, upper half.

Edit: I am a Disciple now... :)

Our Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim coverage has expanded from 12 pages to 14, making it our largest game-based cover story.

Damn. Ever?
