You can go into the store and ask an employee if they have a Nov. Issue hanging around. They replaced my Portal 2 GI when my sister's cat spilled water on it. Once the stores get the new Tomb Raider GI, I need to ask for a replacement; the post office tore off a huge chunk of the cover.

I'd give it a week. The 6th is when the cover will be revealed on the website and when the magazine will ship to subscribers. Subscribers should get their magazines in the mail around the 10th, and then the magazine should be for sale in stores around the 13th or 14th.

They do have 11 other months to show content. I doubt they are going to show everything in GI. In fact, my guess is they will hold back the really important aspects of the game that people are dying to know.

And hopefully, they will release the words for the intro song, so we dont have 100 different versions floating around.

I always end up buying issues of magazines due to stuff like this. Then years later I find it in the closet and can't bring myself to throw it out, lamenting that I wasted money due to my insane hype.

But... when I get it, it's like eating a ridiculously unhealthy slice of cake topped with cherries and caramel and whipped cream and ice cream and pecans... so I do enjoy it when I get it, enjoying the hype.

The current issue's cover was revealed on the 6th, and subscribers posted about the 4-page Elder Scrolls article in the Speculation Thread back on the 7th, so I think it's safe to say that we'll have threads posting information from the article within a day or two of the cover being revealed. It wont be in stores until a week or more after the cover is revealed though, according to the two local Gamestops I called anyway.

I don't usually get my issue until around the 10th so I'll likely be avoiding the Skyrim forum like the plague once information starts being posted, and I'll only return once I read the article for myself.

That is the main reason I decided to make this thread (incase anyone thought it was because of the poll). So we could get the info from one place and so people would be familiar with the thread before the cover reveal so we wouldn't have so many threads.

There is the cover reveal on the 6th of January but no one knows exactly when it will arrive at your local game store or news stand. Antibody said something before:

I'll try to get it, but I won't bother with a subscription. I'd just cancel it as soon as I got the Feb. issue.

12 pages is a little bit bigger then the last cover article which was 10, but the pages sometimes got half of them as pictures and sometimes even the full page so it's probably more like 5 pages worth of info with some cool first screens or art of the game. Either way can't wait. I live less then a hour away from the GameInformer headquarters btw.

I assume GI is available in Canada? If so, I will defiantly have to stop by a get a copy, as I believe EB Games is part of GameStop ?
