Wouldn't it be great if they pulled a Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie? They hyped up that they were going to reveal it on advlt Swim before it hit theaters only to have the intro to the movie play then have it go into a small tiny box on the bottom left hand corner of the screen with no sound while normal programming played in full screen.
All of my friends and I gathered at another friends house to watch... We didn't realize it was a April fools day joke until afterwards :facepalm:

My point is it will be 1000 screenshots but they will be so small we won't be able to tell anything

As long as it looks stunning I don't care if there are 24 screenshots! Everyone says that it looks amazing, more people than any other game I have seen on twitter. This is a good sign.

My guess on the timeline is sometime tommorrow after 7 am or later they'll release the cover on GI's website and an article talking about something about the article on Skyrim but it won't go into to much detail. Possibly anytime between the 6th-10th people who have subscriptions will get the mag and any time after the 13th it'll start appearing in stores (Gamestop is your best bet). So if I'm lucky I'll get it tommorrow but in reality it'll be either the 8th or the 10th, thats my best guess.

When we say the cover we mean the cover of the magazine. That will be revealed tomorrow morning. As for the cover story (or spread) that is referring to the story about the game on the cover of the magazine. That won't be in people's hands until around the 8th if you live close to GI's headquarters.

My guess is some sort of "making of", assuming it's a stylized cover (as most of GI's covers are). I can't really think of anything else they could reveal that's 1) directly related to the cover, 2) not screenshots, and 3) not related to collector's editions/etc.

@Kitzler: Cover means cover story. Cover story is usually the largest piece of writing in the magazine, and pretty much always about what's on the front cover.
