The February Game Informer Cover Thread VI

Post » Thu May 06, 2010 10:43 am

I thought the issue was being released in a few days?

It ships today. It'll take a few days to arrive in stores, however, that doesn't mean some people won't go the extra mile to "acquire" it beforehand, if you catch my drift.

...and yet you are posting in this thread... so you must be a little intrigued yourself, non?

Nope. I'm posting in this thread because I have a case of insomnia and there's little to do at 6 am.

But I apologize, I forgot that magazines were like cars and sports video games. I always did find that silly how they called it one thing and released it at a different time.

It all has to do with the fact that stores can't start selling them until half way into the month. So, they can continue to sell it on into the next month. At least that's my understanding of it

I doubt we have to wait love before a rouge blogger will snatch a copy and begin dishing out the dirt.
Why won't GI just adopt a online magazine...

I think the reason we're all so hyped, is that it'll be the first actual visible proof that Skyrim exists :D

Yeah, after the cover is revealed some website updates.

DCDeacon RT @GI_AndyMc: It is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the all-black cover. We will show the cover this Thursday as well as start some awesome online stuff.

And in a meantime: http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Souls-Elder-Scrolls-Novel/dp/0345508025/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1294096832&sr=8-2
So the new book from Keyes will be Lord of Souls: An Elder Scrolls Novel

Oh wow! this is new news to me. September 27, 2011 ay? almost 2 months b4 the game comes out... i like that. it will make those last 2 months of waiting less of a wait. I knew they would do this, so they can sell more copies. hmm i spose i would rather of had it 4 months b4 game comes out.

The number of users viewing this topic just keeps increasing. Shows how much we all are looking forward to the unveiling. :celebration:

Off topic: You are from Zagreb! I have a friend there. Waaait a minute... B-Man? :o

Imagine if the cover featured a stone dragon breaking out of the roof of a building

My only 'criteria' about the cover is that it looks better than the Oblivion-cover. That was not too impressing, imo. I found it to be quite boring.

well, sometimes they do call me the B-Man...this is weird

It's early morning here and we already have 90 users reading this thread? Well regardless goodbye because I won't be coming back to Skyrim Discussion until I get a copy of GI myself to avoid spoilers. Going to have to be really patient until then.

are you people aware that the cover could consist in a not-so-informative single artwork ? a single picture won't do wonders for game information...

please, stop trying to ruin our irrational hype

Oh, Just take a look at Andrew Reiner's twitter page:

Take your best guess as to what Bethesda has been working on. I'm curious what you expect.

In addition to Skyrim, this issue holds an unannounced sequel. Guess away!

The unannounced game ISN'T a BETHESDA game.

5:39 am CST. Which is what time it is in Minnesota. AKA where Game Informer HQ is located.
