Well I beg your pardon but i don't follow GameInformer's release schedule nor have I been able to find anything on their site eluding to such a date for newsstand release. Is it so hard for them to just put this sht in print in the relevant news article on their site?

I think I can confirm the second letter to be an O.

In this text, a two-letter-palindrome appears. The only english palindrome that is common and only has two letters I can think of would be on / no. Which includes an O, which looks the same as the second letter. If true, we'd also know what an N is.

Because a giant floating city appears in it and Vvardenfell blows up, like it or not, as well as anything from book two.

Much better than some CGI of something that you'll never see in the real game

Those Draconic (?) runes on the back are great too. So far we've only had Dwemer and Daedric runes to decipher. Always cool to see a new ancient language; it makes the world so much older and adds a lot to the depth of the gameworld in my opinion :thumbsup:

I'm surprised there aren't more people disappointed with the cover. I don't know if anybody had seen past covers such as Halo Reach and for Skyrim we get a screenshot of Skyrims website.

My same thoughts. Actually, when the GI editor tweeted that the cover would be the logo on a black background most people thought he was bluffing or misdirecting people for a more dramatic reveal... as it turns out, he was quite literally describing the cover pretty much as it is. Lame. Loved last month cover on Tomb Raider, a concept shot that actually gives the reader an idea of the visual design the developers are going for, and makes me want to find out more because am genuinely intrigued, instead of the whole yes, we have new info, but we aren't showing you anything unless you come over and buy the magazine.
