The cover is what I expected. The content inside the magazine is what interests me.

Well I was at first , but Morrowind's cover is also very, very simple, and the game is amazing. So yeah, a silver logo and a pitch black background makes me think this game is gonne be much more darker than any other elder scrolls game, both in story and content :D and thats a good thing!!

So how are we supposed to decode that back cover? Is there some sort of translator?

Anyone know if Tom Hanks is a fan? He did great in the Da Vinci code

If i'm not mistaken the reveal said that they will be releasing some info on the hub to help translate what is on the back of the magazine.

I wasn't dissapointed. I thought the cover was really classy (like someone from the previous thread said) but I admitt I was a little bit sad because I won't be able to get the actual magazine...

I'm still just dissapointed that Bethesda chose to give exclusivity to Gameinformer rather than an international publisher. The reason why so many people wanted this cover reveal to give them information is because they literally can't get it otherwise. Americans can just go out and buy the magazine, the rest of us will have to wait a very long time.

It's not an evil business scheme. Just business as magazine sales continue to go down and a handful who do buy scan the pages to the internet. As for the cover, disappointed it isn't stylish like the Tomb Raider cover or other past covers.

Still it's fine, fitting for the game being absolutely mysterious to us all. Basically either you wait till you get it in the mail, buy the magazine at the store, get info from here, or read scans on the net but note None Permitted Here.

But yes, atleast the digital cover disappointed me no matter how much you might want to svck up, or applaud it's L.A. Noire-esque simplicity.

It's fine though. The real meats in the magazine eh?

The first word is repeated. But too short to be Dovahkiin. Dovakin would work, but then you end up with Ko as a word(and using ok...which doesn't seem likely). I think it's something different.

There's one two letter word that is reversed later and the only word that comes to mind is no and on.

The first two letter word is either no or on.

Indeed. We should probably be trying to decode now, or going to sleep/relaxing/doing what we have not been able to do for the past moments while waiting for the cover release and wait for more info. (Probably coming to us 11pm...)

Not disappointed. Intrigued at the text on the back. Wait until you find out what it means, and then see if you're still disappointed. Besides, it's just the cover. The good stuff is always inside.

Well I'm disappointed.

Whats some mumbo jumbo scriblings on a fictional game language compared to a real screen?

We've seen Akaviri, the pale pass manuscript.

Now, it should be simple to decode. The first line is one word repeated, one letter short of Dovakiin, maybe only on "i".

Its just a case of comparing the text to what we think the song says.

Don't you see? This tells us more than any screenshot! We can work out what the story is about!

People are actually disappointed with the cover? That's one of the classiest covers I've ever seen.
