Bethesda did it again.

Edit: It's almost ideantical to the Morrowind and Oblivion cover. What did we really expect? :unsure2:

I hoping the dark feel of the trailer and the cover is leading us to a much darker gaming experience compared to oblivion.

Compared to many of the other eye-candy GI covers, Skyrim's cover looks... bland... It isn't anything new that we haven't already seen, it doesn't really stand out and make me go "wow! I want to read more about this game!" Contrast it with http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/04/09/may-cover-revealed.aspx - now that one piqued my interest.

Well, I think that's pretty relative. For my part, not only that cover doesn't catch my attention, but also it'd even give me a bit of shame to walk around with it in my hands. Too childrish for my taste.

So the GameInformer magazine will be available at GameStop stores on the 14th? That's odd, my brother called a local GameStop and an employee said that you can't buy individual issues. Any idea how much the GI issue will cost at a from a stand?

If I subscribed today would I still receive the issue of GI that has the Skyrim cover?

Ah hell! I tossed and turned all night, waking up occasionally to check the time, and finally got up about ten minutes ago and got all excited just to see something that's been around since day one. Well, gotta give some credit to Beth and GI, it turns out they are god-tier trolls.

Not really, minimalistic and mysterious stuff attracts much more interest by curious people. Plus, it got that cool 3D special effect that Miller mentioned which will draw a lot of attention.

And just like Benrahir said, that Bulletstorm cover is childish...

So does anyone actually have a copy of the mag yet? I'm not asking for scans or anything cause I know the rules, but just curious if anyone actually has it yet.

I love the cover. It's bold. A solid black background with a highly detailed, seemingly 3D look (according to the reveal article) is striking, dark and fitting for TES series.

The back cover, however, is maddening.

Not that I've heard of, and I don't think so. Though it might be useful lurking the internet for it.

I hear that most of the game will take place underground, without a torch, and no slider for gamma correction.

Well... I guess that could be kinda cool.

What can I say, I like comic books, and I'm used to dynamic covers.

Not to mention the title of the game...veeery original...

It reminds me of http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100223210424/simpsons/images/thumb/3/38/Bonestorm.jpg/344px-Bonestorm.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHpwVeL1xXk

Now that's a cover and it is not a "screenshot" like people think that we wanted and think would have been amateurish.

That cover is exciting. Not least of all because of the sheer anticipation of the coming game but because it looks sharp enough to cut and immediately brings swords danger and blood to mind.

I love it.
