The February Game Informer Cover Thread XIII

Post » Wed May 19, 2010 11:35 pm

Yes, but there'll periodic updates all month long. Although, unlike other hubs this one doesn't have release dates.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean about hub release dates though?

I just wanna see a full body model. I can't help being a graphics fiend, and when so many other games are dropping jaws with their visuals, I want Bethesda to catch up.

I remember Oblivion blowing me away with how beautiful it looked. It's aged.

For the last magazine, some people got it a day after the cover was revealed right? Why can't it be the same for this one?

That was the last issue of the year, they probably printed it early so they could start their next print runs.

Back to reality now. Who else expects the game to have an M rating? Oblivion came out as T(later changing to M), and Morrowind was also T. The serious looking cover, as well as the location (snow is hardcoe), and the fact that Beth tends to change the feel of the games each time has me thinking that this game will be nice and dark. No smiles, no jokes, no admire dialouge. I cannot wait.

Hell yeah, snow is so f'ing hardcoe man! :mohawk:
*throw snowball at you*

But I think it's very likely to be M, the whole theme is much more darker it seems. From the mysterious trailer to the black and bold cover, I'd say that's very dark. Hopefully we will be getting a world as dark as The Witcher's.

We just have to hope that someone on this forum is 1) lucky enough to get it early and 2) nice enough to *ahem* "paraphrase" it for us. If I get my hands on it early for some reason, I certainly will.

I'm afraid that "paraphrasing" is all you'll be allowed to do here - you can't write the whole thing down or post scans.

So we can summarize it with little sentences about a certain feature or cool thing and post? Okay :)

No, you can't link to a blog page with scans on it, that's just like linking direct to scans.

Of course you can talk about what you read in a magazine, that's fine. It's just that you can't directly transcribe the article or scan it in and post it here.

I'm sure official screenshots and info will go up on the Beth Blog and Skyrim site soon enough.

You know, if you want scans, there are better places than these forums to get them. Just sayin'.

But what if people post screens on another site and I watch them there, am I then betraying the rules?

This. As I don't want spoilers, one screenshot will be enough. Heck, we will be getting over 20, that's more than what I wished for. GI issue will supply with the one and only information I need. After that, I'll vanish and start lurking another game like Diablo 3 or the new Deus Ex, Portal 2, Torchlight 2, The Witcher 2, plus they will keep me busy until Skyrim is out. As I trust Bethesda I'll pre-order it when I get the chance, I don't need gameplay videos or something like that to be sure that the game will rock.

guys, are you stupid? If you do something illegal, you don't talk about it in public. Is it really that hard to understand? There is a sticky topic on top of this very forum, an it states clearly what you're allowed to do, so i suppose you read that topic and stop asking the same stupid questions over and over again. That thread is there for a reason.
