Just purchased this game and was wondering whether it's worth installing the fighting chance pack or not. I have the code for it in the box and not sure whether to use it or not.

Use it, you get a pretty cool shotgun and bonus green gel unless you want to save it for a second playthough?

I usually never use codes I get with games because I either forget about them, don't notice them or want to leave them intact for someone else if I decide to sell the game.

However before starting my nightmare run I did use this one....and I have to say I wish I hadn't.
The shotgun seems powerful as it fires both shells at once (if I remember correctly) but since trying it out in chapter 3 I haven't used it again throughout my run through. Now on chapter 10.
In my mind there isn't enough ammo to go firing both shells at once

I have used the incendiary bolts.....but only by accident...doh!....when I didn't notice the bolt had changed to it.
I've never used the poison bolt so can't comment on how effective they are.

So, all in all, IMO, it's not worth using the codes.

Having said all that.....the incendiary bolts could come in handy for the burning house in chapter 6 ...hmmmmm... I wonder.

So I gather the code can only be used on one playthrough right?

From what I know as soon as you redeem it the goodies will appear ingame on any playthough but wont appear until Chapter 3.
