I am on the final quest.

I decided a couple days ago to finally do the main quests and now I am on the last one. Is the game still enjoyable after finishing?

Congratulations! Nothing changes after the end of the game, so if you found it enjoyable beforehand, you will do after.

Skyrim is always enjoyable. Most people never even do the MQ.

Tons more stuff to do, I'd wager you haven't discovered more than a quarter of what is out there yet. And I'm not even including the DLC's

D: I used dragonrend and after he landed he would not take damage. I looked it up and it said load a earlier save I looked and for some reason even though it autosaved like 5 times today it was only showing one from yesterday so I am taking a short rage quit.

ALWAYS make a hard save before a boss battle. It will save your bacon 1,000 times over. Also before you take a radiant quest or anything else to avoid bugs and glitches.

I would say more so as i then had time to look around and explore at leisure instead of feeling pressured to follow a particular questline. I found out all sorts of things i would never have looked at or considered just blindly following instructions.

I generally end up with 20 or 3o saves by the time I am done playing on any given day. I'll save 5 or 6 out of that for the next play session.

I'm sure you understand Skyrim is an open-ended game so, you won't find end credits anywhere. Having said that, besides the main questlines, there are the guilds (if you haven't done any of them already) a sizable amount of side-quests and radiant quests you'll never run out of. Also, if you're into exploring, the place is filled with unmarked locations, many (if not all of them) worth visiting.

It won't end, unless you say so.

NOTHING changes. One of my biggest gripes. Sometimes you'll encounter a peaceful dragon, if you didn't kill...ya know. One crummy shout. Hardly a thank you.

But yeah, going to svongarde is epic, especially when you wait to do it with a high level character.
