Guys there probably will be.

And if not you can try and see if it will come out in a DLC.

But I'm 86% sure its going to be in there.

I think that's why they are being so clandestine about it. Either they find amusemant in the bickering knowing it's not in, or would rather keep it a surprise as if it is in the game. For example, Game Devs were quick to dispel rumours of Area 51, but not something as simple as the Tommy Gun. If something wasn't in the game I'm sure it's absence would be confirmed by the Devs. I honestly think it's either planned to be in, or is actually there for us to find in-game.

I saw vids on YouTube of F3 with mods, and they had the TG in them. Awesome look and sound to it. And that's how I'd picture it being if in NV.

Tommy Guns? Why on earth? What for? If you wanna pray and spray, just get the LMG.

Also, have any of you ever held one of them svckers?

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that with HC mode, weight is gonna be an issue with that svcker, and .45 ammo.

No thanks.

Now, if you can fit a 1911 in game... :P

That being said, I'm all for a diversity of guns, so yeah. Throw it in there, but if not, Im not really butthurt.

Tommy Guns need to disable fine aim and ironsights. Always from the hip or no dice.

People would RP with it regardless of its practicalities. Why would you be against a weapon that you wouldn't even have to use if you didn't want to?

The Tommy Gun is a SMG with a 50 drum mag that fires .45 cal, that is nasty and its one of those guns that your not exactly going to want to use in the middle of the desert from far away. I would say id be the most powerful SMG that fires actual bullets in F: New Vegas from the gun's that we know of so far anyway if it is in the game.

While there are SMG's more accurate & reliable for many reason's then the Tommy Gun in real life, there are none that I can think of or know of that are more powerful then the Tommy Gun far as that goes. It's like saying a AR-15 is more powerful then a musket rifle, would I rather have a AR-15 in a real life combat situation? Hell yes but in a video game? . . . I will take the freakin musket rifle are you kidding me? Forget blowing heads off, I will blow a mother effin upper torso off with a musket rifle lol. Slow reloads? Well there can be a perk's for that and a 100+ Gun skill because it is a RPG, it is not real life or a realistic competitive FPS game.

Its all the same principle, the Tommy Gun is one of the coolest & best weapons you can have in a setting such as F: New Vegas.
