The Fingertip Shoulder Push...

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 9:31 am

For some reason whenever I start a conversation after considering the larger RP potents of a particular character or scenario, I always equate clicking dialogue lines with reaching out and gently shoving NPC's in the shoulder. Like "HEY!"

Maybe I'm just a freak. Or maybe having subtitles on puts a big sim-dome around my character interactions, and my visualization is like the spark of intention moving my digital body more into the scene, with the fingertips on my mouse being all that remains to anchor me to “reality” in that moment...

Or maybe I'm just a freak! Anyone else do this? XD

Could be a sign of success for Bethesda, making forward steps towards out digital immersive future reality. In general I have no problem separating reality from fantasy, though I will frequently mash the two together just for kicks.
