The first death! Where will you be?

Post » Tue Dec 08, 2015 3:37 am

I'm gonna speculate on my first Fallout 4 death. I'll explore for more than an hour without getting killed and when my pride is at it's highest and I feel like such a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. unique wanderer, I will suddenly be launched 1 mile into the air by a mini nuke exploding at my feet, launched just moments ago by a giddy jacked up Raider. At least this is what I hope (fingers crossed)! :bunny:

What about you?

:fallout:

I'm going to jump off the closest cliff after hearing it's been 200 years since I entered the vault, and having lost hope of seeing my spouse and baby ever again,
then I will reload the game dust my self off and become a raider and kill everything in sight with a burning rage in my heart!

I'm expecting to die the same way in 4 as I did the first time in 3, which was fist fighting a boatfly and then having a deathclaw come out of nowhere and destroy my spine.

I can see myself wandering out of the vault in pure ecstasy, overwhelmed by the huge open world around me and all it's beautiful scenery.

As I explore deeper into this alien landscape I suddenly hear a familiar "beeping" sound and few seconds after I see my legs flying high into the sunny horizon.

I will never forget how my stomach twisted in my first encounter with theese exploding potatoes. The memories still haunt me till this day.

Just like all BGS games.

I investigate an interesting ruin at a low level and find myself beaten by a scamp/zombie/bandit/super mutant...etc.

Curiosity killed the cat...and the first time character.

Trapped in the vault door due to a glitch, my character will cry out "oo! Oargh! OOH! ugh! AAARGH!" and then die.

My first time dying is probably going to be after I refused to listen to the pleads of my spouse to get my butt into the vault and they take our child and abandon me to my fate while I steadfastly attempt to break into my neighbors house... And then get nuked by the Chinese. I'm hoping that after a while a big red timer comes up at the top of the screen and begins counting down, so I can ignore that too while I attempt to explore as much of the pre-war world as possible.

That is very clever. I wish I had thought of this but I will shamelessly steal the idea and try to go out that way myself.

For most of my early deaths tend to be from explosives and stupidity, badly tossing grenades or not paying as much attention as should disarming mines.

That sounds like a very evil way of putting it, but karma the reason stuff can good neutral or even evil or maybe very evil. I have did that many times in fallout 3 and fallout new vegas, if i remember correctly i sided with the powder gangers in new vegas and i guess my own idea of adventure decided to do some evil deeds. I probably see if i die within seconds or if something magical happens.

Opening scene.. I'm going to refuse to join the vault and get in a fist fight with the door to door salesman... Since I won't have chosen my stats yet I'll most likely be easily killed. If that doesn't work I'll try to start a fight with my spouse... if that doesn't work I'll try to start a fight with the baby.

Sounds like my first Fallout 3 character.... wandered a bit on the way to Megaton, triggered a "random encounter" zone...

...and got some named raider with a railway rifle. Splat.
