The first logical thing to do

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 4:14 pm

So I'm new to the forums but I have been following this game pratically religiously. So from all the videos I've seen the most logical thing to first do when you come home with brink is to beat all the challenges first so that you unlock all the extra. I know it's random, but I was just seein what other people will be doing first.

Oh and I'm playin on the 360. GT:PolishEagle89. Been playing a lot of team based game for as long a I can remember. TF2, battlefeild 2, bad company 2, etc. Feel free to send me a request.

im jumping right into multiplayer

You will be missing out on stuff then. Normaly i jump right into multiplayer aswell but since the challenges (only saw 3) gives u rewards based on difficulty i would be completing those first and then jump in multiplayer.

playing both campaigns on the hardest bot difficulty, then if i want the extras, do the appropiate challenges on easy or medium, and ten go online. also gonna be experimenting with body types, classes, and weapons while playing the campaign, so as to known exatcly what i want to do when i go multiplayer.

personally I will be downloading the game to my hard drive first, then the update (360) then I will customize my Character, then I will do the Challenges.

I will be there at 11:01 pm CST on Monday Night on Steam talking to the Brink group and I'll probably do the challenges too. A good way to get controls down before getting owned in MP (on top of that, how many people will be on MP? I don't want to play bots on multiplayer immediately, lol).

Oh, and welcome to the forums. Here's your complimentary turtle: :turtle:

Single player ofc is good first to learn the movements, all those fancy parkour tricks, weapons etc then on mp it's time to show off :)

? Challenges
? Free Mode to get to know the maps better
? Beat the game with friends
? Buy any appearance gear and equipping my guns with all the exp I earned from challenges and beating the game with friends.
? Play Multiplayer with all the nice things I got before I thought about going head first into multiplayer in the first place.

Not really missing out on stuff by not doing the challenges first, just not using everything. One could say it's best to jump into the tutorials or SP first to ease into the skills required to complete the challenges, or get into MP for the same reason.

I would do some of the campaign first and then jump to the challenges when I'm ready and then finish the campaign, but I may be stopping off at my friends place to play there so we'd be doing the game first anways.

First step: Tutorials for free level up.

Second step: Combination of single player and challenges until I've unlocked all the stuff I actually care about, AND am confident enough in my skills to play online.

1. Challenge
2. Campaign
3. Multiplayer

This is my order. Also, here's a link to get in touch with other XBL players and welcome.

Welcome :)

First,Dossier for tips and staff, then all challenges to 3 stars so i can learn the game good enough,so when it comes to MP i can be reliable to my team.

To everyone it's own of course, that will be my priority of things when release.

After spending 10 minutes customizing my guy of course i would go with challenges because they unlock weapons and attachments and also hone your skills in a hopefully fun way

I'll do the challenges, customize my guy, play some co-op, and then play online.

Stop making fun of people who play PS3 it's really kinda sad. It's not their fault that PSN is down. It's the jack*** hacker who decided he had nothing better to do than to ruin peoples fun. Just like many others who play online games. And before you say I'm a really devoted fan; I don't even own a PS3. I just think it's stupid all the nitpicking that is done.

I will also be completing all of the challenges first, for the unlocks and the practice. I added you on XBL (my GT Patholog1k4L), Im not entirely sure on what class I want to focus on but I am looking for some laid back, mature people to play with. Hope to see you in game on the 10th!
