I would obviously stop along the way to see anything that perks my interest. it wouldn't just be in a straight line, i'd take my time getting there and explore along the way.

First thing I will do after the tutorial is pause the game.I will then log in here and proceed to moan endlessly about how beth betrayed us.

Not really, but those of us who remember the before time (OB) will know what to expect. When there is great anticipation...someone always gets hurt. The rest of us will be too happy and busy to convey the counter arguments to all the moaning.

The real first move I will make?
Get a house or safe storage somewhere. :)

Hopefully containers don't respawn this time.

Step 1 - Head to he nearest tavern I can find.

Step 2 - Find the biggest, burliest Nord in said tavern.

Step 3 - Describe unspeakable acts I will commit upon his mother.

Step 4 - Engage in a tavern brawl!

Sounds like plan

What do you guys think about this. The first thing I will do after I get out of prison is look where I start, and travel on foot through the forests, mountains, volcanic tundras and plains to the other side of the map. I think this would be an amazing experience.

Probably similar to what I will do.

I'll do what nearly everyone will actually end up doing, that is finding the nearest town to pick up quests and sell the loot you will have collected during your escape.

If I do this, I will probably realize the map isnt quite as big as I imagined. I like not knowing where the edge of the gameworld is.

But I might try finding a border of the map to see what happens when you reach the edge....will it be invisible walls, I wonder?

That will be a hot topic on release for sure.Unless there is a cheap beaten up house that most of us do not miss.

You are right.Got to do that before or after finding storage.Following the early MQ will probably lead us to the perfect place for both of these needs.

I'll be doing something similar, except I'm setting my sights on climbing the seven-thousand steps so I can jump off the throat of the world :P

Whirlwind Sprint off the Throat of the World :hubbahubba: ?

I'll go into full-body seizures as all the options of what to do flood my head.

Haha i'm in agreeance. Because my pre-order will be 1 or 2 days late (long story) I think i'll look here for people to upload photos of their characters and glean some ideas, then after installing etc and perfecting my character (race TBC) the very first thing i'll do is look up to the stars and get a grip of ALL the perks available and plan my character around that, then, I like the idea of traversing the map and crafting me some dope armour

Do you really believe you will be able to resist the temptation of stopping at every dungeon and point of intereset along the way?

I think I'll travel around like a tourist and look at some villages and towns first. All the ones I've seen in the trailer and various screenshots fascinate me.

Really an amazing idea, I'm almost always clueless when I start out and focus on wealth. I'm definitely going to do this now. Take a "stroll" for a few hours.

Um, nope. This is only my second forum. The first being Bioware's for DA2. I was there with Gandalf the Fabulous, though nobody like him then because he was a spammer and a troll. :hehe: I guess I'm not as creative as I thought with the name though.

I'm going to find the thieves guild and dark brotherhood as fast as possible.

Unfortunately those two are the hardest to find (took me forever to find the thieves guild last time). Although I bet you just have to kill somebody to get in the dark brotherhood.
