Hey guys, I'm currently doing missions for the Thieves' guild. Right now I have a Fishing Job telling me to pickpocket Farkas. I sneak behind him but I have no option to pickpocket him, I can only talk to him. I've tried pickpocketing him while he is asleep but it didn't work. It won't give me the prompt to pickpocket, like I said, only to talk (the crosshair shows me as hidden). Help?

Hmm very odd, if he was acting as a follower I could understand why you couldn't pick pocket him, but then if he was acting as a follower you could simply take the item through trade. I presume that because Farkas isn't continually talking to Kodlak that you've already done at least part of the companion questline.

just go back to the TG and get a different job. Sorted.

i remember there was a glitch where if you wanted to cure your werewolf blood he could get locked as your follower, so i ask you....did you do the companions quest line and try to cure your werewolf blood? if not, then im not sure

For those Delvin/Vex rebuilding TG quests I'd avoid pickpocketing altogether.
The couple of times I tried crouching down behind Susanna the wicked I kept getting 0% even with minor gear and a minor potion (no over-powered re-setting).

Checked with UESP and it was indeed a liability with fishing jobs, so....
It felt a teensy bit like cheating but I just kept choosing numbers jobs from Delvin.

@Lord Vukodiak: I believe it is Vilkas that continually speaks to Kodlak before starting the companions quest line.

@gvazdas: Because it's easy to mix them up check and see if you have the "right" brother!
