Yea the title sounds like a movie title or something...well here it goes..

Up until now i have been reading in various threads about the sli gpu flickering problems...
I have never experienced flickering in Crysis 2.
I have a gtx295 an everything was running smooth until the patch 1.9
The weird thing is..... get this.... After i patched to 1.9 i had only a fps drop in certain maps and so on.
But no flickering... Then suddenly after a couple weeks playing with 1.9 and having no problem..
then.... SUDDENLY.... one day i get the sli gpu flickering issue...
So...wtf...

I read over at nvidia site that after the 270 whql drivers the game profile policies update automaticly....
So i'm thinking if that could be the issue..and i could maybe solve the flickering by changing some setting at the nvidia game profile panel...

running Nvidia gtx295 with 270.61

Update: I have been "playing" around in empty servers while having the flickering issue...and..
...it looks like the flicker is made by a huge black circle-sphere that is always in my view...
Its flickering depends on how fast i look around..
...Also.. When i right click to ADS this black thing blacks out my whole view and then goes back to "normal" ads.

Cmon..anyone? Cry-Admins?

So me and Terminal_Meltdown are the only one's that have issues with a massive black hole that flickers in the FOV ? ...

Makes me feel kind of..."special"... |o.0|

See i have to try and workaround this by my self then... Not sure its possible... but anyways...

I Repeat that this occurred to me after a couple of weeks that i had already been playing with Patch 1.9 and didnt have that issue..
I "only" had fps drop after 1.9.... then suddendly one day...supermassive flickering black hole...

I found what is causing the black flickering...
its the motion blur setting...if i lower it, i have the black flickering..
if i max it all is good... wtf...so now i cant change settings because it affects my gameplay?

Raising the settings should affect my gameplay in a bad way...
not when i lower them... |o.0|

Terminal Meltdown...you where right..
its not the motion blur setting (although i still disable it cause it kills performance)

Its the shader settings indeed... that cause the black flickering...
what can i say...1.9 patch nightmare.
