At least look on the good side, Andy...

from personal experience I can tell you that your child will grow up to have an IQ of at lest 130 + and perhaps more. For it takes a four year old whose intelligence is far above average to do the things that he has done!

So Andy, I'm thinking about where you are placing these ships. Not sure if you've thought about it yet, but I noticed from the pictures that at the time you were just working in a interior cell. I doubt there is enough room in the vanilla worldspace and if you wanted it in there it would have to be pretty close to Rivet City, which would be kind of weird. So, I think your only option is a new world space, so I'm guessing GTS is a good option for you. What is your opinion on it?

And also, do my NPC plox?

But man! That really is bad! I really do feel for you my friend, I really do......Godspeed on your recovery! BZ on jumping back on the horse, by the way, instead of sulking....

that's what I would have done...it's what I did after losing my own mini mod compilation...oh the memories! *cries into a scotch*

Eh it is true I like family guy
.
and
.
a follow up
.
Popeye
Pops son raised in the wasteland and for most of his life kept himself going by the one letter he had from his father that referred to him as the "apple of his eye" this was eventually shortened to Pop's eye and after being questioned about his name multiple times reduced to Popeye he continues to look for his father and hopes one day to see his Pappy in the flesh.
Bloat-o
Possibly the fattest man in the wastes he out masses most super mutants a schemer and planner with a several brain cells short of what he needs to be successful at it he is Popeye's nemesis and can usually be seen on the other side of canturbury commons where they both make residence and work as caravan guards.
All-of
when asked what she will do by clients she simply says all-of the above and has such become her call sign when they are both in town Bloat-o and Popeye fight over whom gets a go at her first, this usually costs them more then the deed itself.

Wow, thanks guys!
:embarrass:

I feel like I've been on vacation for a week and it was only for the day..

@ D Foxy
your welcome :D
Make her say five foot six or so, 36 DD - 23 - 34, hair as black as a raven with a slight curl to it, and a face that is asian/caucasian mix with dark eyebrows and bee stung lips. OMG I'm...er....excited already.

Anyone in particular you have in mind we can facegen off of. Something like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_McGowan only maybe more Asian?

@ Jara
Eyepatch.
Got it. Good one too!

@ Movingtarget
It could have been worse. You could have called yourself Movingviolation. Now that could have gotten a little unpleasant :hubbahubba: As it stands, you were right.
Remember Arwen in the engine room? Well, truth be told she hates guns, and won't touch them, being afraid she'll shoot her own foot -another reason everyones so protective of her.
But she has no problem building robots with guns and MovingTarget is one of her favorites and the closest thing she has to a weapon/bodyguard.
MovingTarget, or MT for short (yes, I know how that sounds, it's nothing personal, just funny is all) is a refurbished sentry robot with a number of modifications built into it.
It has cognitive awareness, reasoning and social functioning programmed directly into prime dierectives, as well as its original tactical functions. It has a shortwave radio transciever that links it to HAL, and allows for deeper processing when needed -MT can be seen to freeze up for a few seconds while spooling the incoming data-
Its propulsion unit has been upgraded and the treads modified for stair climbing (smoke that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ED-209)
Other duties include assisting the different security forces when needed -MT is capable of tuning in to the different radio frequencies that the different teams use
Weapon layout is modular and can be swapped out accordingly -which is a nice way of saying I don't have a clue, but this kinda works, the modular thing.
Refuses to stay in one of the storage pods when offline, Arwen has arranged a corner for MT next to HAL with a table and chessgame its playing with HAL. If you mess with the pieces HAL will tell on you. And then MT will hunt you down and engage you in a very protracted -and boring- conversation as to the driving logic behind you messing with the chess game.
If you are very lucky or intelligent (that's YOU, not the character), your character might live.

I like Pops, and pop's eye, bloat o and All of are hilarious :goodjob:

@ Urge
yup, it was your avatar that did it for me (looks like a helgast?)
Thanks for the info on the armor, mucho handy to know. As for doing the face. I haven't played around with making faces yet. If you want to, go for it. I rarely hem in creative exuberance.

Agonofinis
An agent of the shadowy http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati_(orde), his name is only known to those within the order. To everyone else he is known as Stewie Griffin. His rank within the order is that of mortifier. And if you really have the need to figure out what that means, why don't you ask him, hmmm? Ask about the cages, go on. I dare you.
Yeah. Didn't think so. The guy is creepy.
(nothing personal, but we need 'bad' guys too)

There is a vault dweller on board, from vault 96. I don't have a clue what happened in that vault or what happened to him/her (uhhh, flip a coin time) but I'll work out the details later
I was going to include a vault dweller from another vault, mainly for the "you as well, huh? Join the freaking club" and "did she ask you to cripple yourself, too? That's when I walked, crazy #@$%^&"

@ M'heree
That's some close scrutinizing you were doing, or you have a honking large screen. I started in an interior because I hadn't done a worldspace yet [grins sheepishly] and yes, it's in it's own worldspace and yes GTS we go (with a few very minor "if" "ands" & "buts" to be addressed, but those are details way down the pipeline)
And also, do my NPC plox?

Uhh, you had better explain that one to me, in more than six words, buddy. Cuz you lost me at plox.
is it a good thing? is it something kids are doing these days that I as a parent should know about? Can I get arrested outside Nevada for soliciting Plox?
You gotta throw me a bone, I'm floundering bad here

@ Arabian Knight
Thanks, I'm sorry about your add on being trashed [pours himself a scotch as well, solidarity in sorrow and drink], and thanks for the spell check, you're right. I want him to be buddies with Bubba Jay because I think that's right. As for who the Arabian Knight is? hur hur hur, stay tuned...

...and time for bed. G'night everyone

Rathious Galent
He is the team leader of another anti Insurgency Squad known as Rath's Rangers. Having acquired military training from the same source as Reilly, it's a safe bet that they knew each other at an earlier date.
The Rangers as they are simply known on board are a slightly larger unit than Foxtrotzulu (three more members) and they operate vastly different than than them. Where Foxtrotzulu excels at close quarter combat, the Rangers combine both long range sniping and short range engagement together into a tightly choreographed strategy of luring the opposition into known killzones where the snipers have clear access. All members of the unit are in radio contact via headsets that they always wear on their helmets. Rath's brand of warfare is evident in all aspects of the team, from tactics to uniform dress codes, at all times geared towards instilling pride in the unit members for being a Ranger, which is probably why all rangers always dress in BDUs and cap. They supposedly are discouraged from wearing civilian attire. Aside from the mandetory headset/helmet and combat amor, each member is encouraged to use what ever type of weapon that fits that person best, and so expect a motley assortment of firearms among the Rangers.

Awesome! That has a nice zing to it! Rath's Rangers, awesome! I like the fact you are incorporating a team that relies on close and long range combat as my character does just that.
Glad I could be of inspiration to you!

I'd be surprised if I got a spot on the ship with Loki. Loki loves a good long range energy weapon, but what he loves even more is to light his foes up with flamers, phased energy laser snipers, nuka grenades, even a small little pistol he picked up one trip through DC. It's a small little pistol(like a plasma pistol, but with some red decals), but it lights up his foes like a fire ant on a spit roast.

Yevic
Old east european wastelander who came on board about 15 yrs ago and resides in lower Man Hatten. Although he seems to live in humble style from the outside, inside he has transformed it into a true sanctuary of luxury. As a repair guy his skills are some of the best -and most expensive- onboard, but certainly the guy to see for quality repair and tech items (he has a massive collection of old tech)
Wears big horned rim glasses, and dont ask about the daniel boone cap, he knows how to use the AK above the fireplace...

Nice reference to my actual age btw, and the horned rim glasses sound like an intersting touch

M'heree
A bar. Although unadvertised, and gets its name from strangers asking where the hell they were and partons answering "Mmmh.., here.."
Not a nice place, situated in an even less appealing location, populated by some deeply dire characters. And when you've found it, you'll know exactly where you are.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,
The Drag0ntamer
A freefighter who is a main event act at the Jankees stadium. He would be ok looking if it weren't for the yellow eyes. WEars sunglasses almost all the time, partly because of a natural sensitivity to his eyesight, and partly not to creep people out. Not the largest person on two legs, but man, can he fight.

edit:

I was going by your avatar :D
Glad you approve of him. I want him to have access to alot of the weirder upgrades and specialty items.. For a big price, of course. After all, he has his "real estate" to keep up.

YX33A is Arwens answer to MT's questions why Mt was there to protect her, but by the same logic, who was there to protect MT? so Arwen built YX33A. A somewhat smallish robot, it houses none the less an arsenal of serious proprotions (Arwen needed to explain it to the Skipper because Private was getting nervous around YX33A). When Mt asked the inevitable question; who protects YX33A? Arwen answered that YX33A could take care of itself, to which MT confirmed and with its logic banks flushed clean was as close to being happy that a robot can get.
Don't miss the Advantures of LOKI, the wasteland dweller. Shot in the studios of New Reno, finally something else than skin-flicks to come outta there, and showing in the ships theatre.

Thanks guys.
This is great :D

Okido. Just started work again, remade the .esp, created a bunch of empty interior cells that I want, created the worldspace for the ship and ocean, created a child worldspace of it for the topdeck. Time to build something.

I'll slowly rebuild the decks and buildings I lost, but I'm kinda continuing where I left off and starting there, because I knoe from experience that redoing -lost- stuff is a moral sapper. So my next thing are the last two Large buildings that will sit on the top deck:
the Empire- and the State Buildings.
The idea behind them is that from below they are two seperate buildings that merge into one as the climb higher and -hopefully- from a distance or from a certain angle they'll look like the real thing.
The "super structure" is being made up from the Industrial Girder/Strut sections and covered with corregated iron sheeting. In front of that I'm covering most of the exterior of the buildings from the bottom up in DLC Pitt Scaffolding.

Q. Is there anything I need to know before hand about the DLC Scaffolding kit?
Snap to ratios in geck?
Clearence issues?
Does it rust in the salt air?

I'll be posting more often with phaseII, mostly to check myself before going ahead with things..

Aolyte doesn't think it'll rust. Cuz scaffolding is usually made from stainless steel :D

1. Not sure, I don't use snap that much myself...I like to get it just right and snap never seems to agree with me.
2. Don't even know what that means :P
3. Yes, but some Abraxo will clear that right up.

1 wow. fiddly...
2 yeah, not sure myself. More worried about how characters 'fit' in the scaffolding and how much space it takes up.
3 well, ask a silly question.. :P

new NPC (cuz I can see him lurking :ninja: )
Old Jacob Vandeberg :D
This is old money, err, bottlecaps, people. Ol'man Vandeberg has more caps than the Nuka Kola company used to have, or that's the going consensus on board. Lives up in the Crown of the Empire and the State buildings and is hardly seen in public. The ships own Howard Hughes, kinda. No one knows how old and rumor has it he's actual a ghoul who has his security forces abduct people from the lower decks so that he can eat their brains.
Of course, this is only a malicious rumor, right?

..err, right?

Acolyte is really creeped out right now. And that's saying something coming from a 9ft 330pnd* mutant

Hiya Andy.

If you get stuck for characters, you can always fall back on the older Fallout games to provide inspiration. Except for Brotherhood of Steel on the PS2 and X-box, we won`t discuss that one. Although, I`m ashamed to admit, but I did quite enjoy it.

Characters like Sulik, Ian, Cassidy, Horrigan and Tandi.

Everyone loves a canon cameo! lol.

:embarrass:
I never played 1&2 :(
And I do want to put in some cameos from the previous games (I know about new reno for example..), but I really want it done right and am afraid I'll screw it up soooo [best Elmer Fudd voice], I'm being vewy vewy caweful of the wasckly wabbit eh.., histowy...
say... you sound like you know what you're talking about.. :hubbahubba:
I might have to chew yer ear off some day and get the skinny on everything (there was a master guy.. and a guy called Horrigan or Hogan or something.. and an oilrig fell over I think..)
And if you -or any of the canon/lore scribes in the community, can think of any cool tie-ins between a ship that's been at sea for 200yrs sailing the worlds ocean currents and the rest of the Fallout universe, then I'm open to most anything.
Example: In the Original USS Minnow there was Ginger Grant, the moviestar from Gilligans Island. Well she was a moviestar in New Reno making advlt entertainment. That kind of thing. It dosn't have to mix pop culture with canon, as long as it fits and would be reasonably explainable within Fallout lore.

Wait, I'm confused... Am I now going to be in your mod? Or is this a texture request lol? Sorry, you speak in riddles all the time I often find myself confused by the acolyte.

You and me both. Hey, all you guys do is read Acky's rantings at the bottom of my posts. I actually share my personality with the lumbering goofball. And yes I will need assistence in retexturings, hopefully you can show me a few tricks of the trade, point me in the generally considered correct direction, simple stuff.
You don't want to be mentioned in the Flying Dutchman? :( Awww, pweeese  I loved the idea of a completely different kind of mutant on board. A real normal guy on the inside, your avatar on the outside, with some uncanny fighting abilities (must be a mutant thing).
I built a freefighting arena on board first time around, calling it Jankees (yankee's) Stadium and if all goes well, playing characters will be able to bet on fights and even participate in them. Dragontamer would be one of the top billing events, mostly because the public can't get enough of this small blue-ish guy with yellow eyes who can take down super mutants within 90seconds, and in part because of the blue skin and yellow eyes. He'll have a kind of WWF hulk Hogan celeb feel as an NPC.
One quest I was thinking of is as his bodyguard. He's ben recieving deaththreats from a human supremacy faction on board that want all the mutants on board to get off.

@Rydain
A young and idealistic Marshal, he doesn't believe in excess violence nor unnessesary killing. Proof of this is that he refuses to carry anything that fires full automatic and -hopefully- has a http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5520that he favors. He truly believes every person should do their best for their fellow person, unbiased and without prejudice. He has a huge prewar stuffed teddybear in his apartment called Paddington and were that to be stolen/destroyed then he might snap and do something psychotic.
He also has a crush on Warden Green, but then, so does half the ship, get in line buddy.
He's also way too pretty which makes him look even younger than he already seems to be.

Sorry, dude. But you'll probably end up comical sidekick
Hope you don't mind :D

Andy

Acolyte thinks nomatter how nice Drag0ntamer is, he gots some creepy eyes. Acolyte isn't gonna mess with him and keeps Drag0ntamer as a friend
So its ok Drag0ntamer, Acolyte's yer friend for always and always and he help you anytime when you ina fight you can't win good. Though Acolyte don't think that gonna happen soon, cuz of the creepy eyes
