So the font size and general UI for PC will be..humongous?

Post » Sat Oct 15, 2011 10:47 pm

Well in oblivion PC the font size and such was the same as the 360, and its kinda feels..uncool to have large fonts on PC, lol :D

so im supposing skyrim will have the same large fonts for PC as well? :(

Addon: My mouse moves darn slowly in the PC as well even on max mouse sensitivity, hope that wont be in even if large font is :)

I believe it was said that the PC will have it's own custom UI, although it wasn't gone into detail about what that entailed.

It's not game-breaking, but certainly will annoy me at times...

I'm a 360 gamer, so I have no way to alter it. XD

I'll live.

o.O nonono on the 360 the font size will look fine, its because they ported the stuff from 360 to PC (probably) thats why the font size is large on the PC but normal for the 360.

I saw 360 footage in the 20 minute demo. It's slightly too large.

U could say slightly I'd have gone with, far to large and intrusively placed.

In case you guys didn't noticed, we're not talking here about the Console version UI, but the one on PC.

On topic:
I heard that Bethesda will make adjustments so that we at least get a more proper font from the start, and allow greater moddability of the UI. Or that's what I think anyway, might not be true.

Hey, maybe they pull a Neverwinter and have the font be Arial 10pt or something, so that nobody can read it if their resolution is bigger than 800x600 :P
I honestly hate it when people on pc WANT extremely small fonts for games.. it ruins everything about the immersion by making it look like a Word-doc

So, hopefully they will let us mod it/change the fontsize, because I′m not gonna read any ingame book on PC with a tiny font.
