Realistic Expectations For FONV

----The Ability To Gain Ownership Of At Least One Of The Casino's

Now this might sound like one of those newb requests at first but look at this this way. For everyone who played Oblivion, you probably remember the fighters guild questline. After you finshed the questline, you became the Master of the guild. As master, Modryn Oreyn tells you to check the guild chest every week (i think it was week) to receive your guild earnings. All Obsidian has to do is the smae thing, but with a casino vault, if owning a casino is an option. Fixing slot and table prices, and breaking up fights and cheaters would be an added extraordinary bonus, but i doubt it beyond the Casino Vault.

----A Quest Involving Robbing A Casino

Thinking about the last one after reading this one makes you think of the possibilities. I mean, Obsidian has made it clear in their interviews, the influence of movies like Oceans11 and the "Rat-Pack Era". I feel like this wouldn't be so far fetched to expect.

----Throwing someone off the Lucky 38

Comon, have you seen how damn tall that thing is.

----Crazy Religions/ Cultists

This one i see to be kinda expected because of the appearance of the Nightkin (Children of the Cathedral) , but one cannot be sure. If you look at one of my wicked old posts i predicted the same thing (More specifically i predicted a corrupt religious group, like the one seen in Broken Steel, ontop of that i found odd i could just walk into their church, blow all their heads off, and face no karma loss) but both the Bethesda and Obsidian teams have incorporated the theme in their games

----What's In The Package.

Probably already a thread on this to but i felt like bringing it up. I was thinking about it, and i came up with a few scenarios.

*Water Chip: Homage to the first fallout, your bringing a lost water chip to a vault in need.

*G.E.C.K: If Obsidian does this they best have a damn good explanation. All i have to say.

*Laser Beacon or Parts For It: Maybe giving it to one of the three factions.....

*Theatrical Twist: I wouldn't be surprised is this was the case, like whatever that was i remember watching.... the Holy Grail is a Person not a Cup. Maybe the package is a baby, a purified one...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats about all i can think of ATM ill add more later.

There's also plenty of snarky posts from people saying that threads have been done before. :)
This close to release, of course half of them are gonna be done already. That said, if it's not on the first couple of pages, and it actually promotes an entertaining discussion, then what's the harm?

Also, a casino heist would be awesome.
Followers of the Apocalypse fulfil the crazy cultist prediction, too. :)

I don't know if we'll get to own a casino, especially since the game ends. Stuff like managing a casino seem like an endgame-type activity, so if there's no endgame it doesn't seem all that likely.

As for the package... I have a feeling it's connected to House, and has to do with how he spared Vegas from the nukes. It's probably something that will discredit him, or possibly something that poses a danger to him somehow- hence the hitmen. The specifics are hard to say.

On the other hand, the package might not be dangerous, but merely extremely valuable... which could mean the hitmen are from NCR or Caesar's Legion. Hmm...

I still don't think the Followers of the Apocalypse are that much of a cult. They just aren't very realistic about their goals considering the world they live in.
So I hope they don't fill in the void for cults, that should be reserved for the crazy ones.

And a casino heist is inevitable. It just has to happen.

1. Owning a casino would be awsome, like Mr.House gives you one for being loyal, however I think the dev. will not do this because i think they feel that it is a too easy way of making a large steady income.

2. Casino Heist: should happen, but not likey

3. Throwing someone from lucky 38: Yes, Yes, Oh God, Yes. That would be an great ending, the war has finally broke out in the streets of N.V, NCR vs. CL, and the couier finally corners the person who shot him in the head on top of the tower, some monologe/diologue between them, and then the PC pushes the would-be assassin off and right before the assassin fall he graps the PC to finally finish the hit. And you land on the leader of the NCR/CL, which ever you oppose, killing him and winning the battle for your allies.

So to be a cult they have to be crazy?

Prophecies, wishes, what do you want - all the same as far as I can see, so use the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1107966-what-do-you-want-in-new-vegas/ topic please. There is no need for another variation of it thanks.
