Tommy Forelli
The wind was clattering against the aging buildings as the torrential rain filled the streets with such convection in the rainfall a radioactive show of rain was bad news. Everyone remained indoors, hoping that the horrid rain would drift away. New York was now much smaller, but its population was slowly being regained. The derelict buildings were rebuilt into proper, solid housing as the image of the old Big Apple was being implemented into today’s one. The two main Casinos were always brightly lit up, the emblem beaconed an array of light throughout the city, making it look professional, developed and a good place for business. There was also a small NCR station in the town that would report some minor incidents but they were easily bribed by the man known as Don Forelli. The most feared name throughout the city, no one would cross him.
Tommy Forelli remained perched on his high chair like it was his throne, his Empire was begin to crumble and only he could stop it from disintegrating. He stood up and glared outside the window. He glanced around, his city, his empire, his destiny appeared in front of him. He had now made it and finally lay claim to his place as the man in control of everything. But with these perks came negative aspects. The loss of his mentor, never being able to truly trust somebody and the constant fear someone was trying to kill him. Tommy the leader of the most powerful family in New York had it all and he didn't care who got killed in the process all he wanted was his name to be feared by every man in the city.
A knock was heard on his private room as his wife walked inside, her blonde hair was beautiful and soft and her blue eyes enthralled Tommy the first time he met her. The mansion itself was massive, holding over twenty rooms it was Tommy's dream come true. His wife approached him, as she smiled she placed her hand on his shoulder trying to comfort the seemingly on edge Tommy.
"Tommy, you seem worried. Is everything alright?"
He pushed her away, his mind not functioning right as he received the letter from the NCR. The letter that contained information about him that only his closest associates would know. Tommy was enthralled as he came to conclusion there was a mole in the family. He looked at his wife as he held her tightly and revealed to her how he was feeling and his self-consciousness.
"Lisa, my men are outside in the lobby I need to talk to them. There is some business to discuss that is not relevant to you, so call them and please leave."
She turned her head in dismay, she was feeling disgusted that her husband would not trust her enough to tell her the severity of what was going on.
"Just remember Tommy, me and Joey are the ones who you should trust not push away. We're your family."
Tommy’s ego was once again controlling him, his obsessive nature was always a problem with him and his wife but she always somehow bulked up the confidence to confront him. She was now showing her resistance to the hold he had over her. She always believed Tommy was more than just some thug, she believed he could show emotion and function normally and show people that he could display some form of morality.
She left the room with her dignity intact. She stood up to her egotistical husband was something she felt was necessary to do. Tommy sat down in his chair, he grabbed his M1911 and loaded the clip. It was obvious Tommy was going to do something irrational, but he needed to for the sake of the family. He began reading over the letter from the NCR, contemplating her it would affect him and the family. He was already at war with the Gambino's he couldn't afford another enemy.
Dear Mr. Forelli,
I Colonel Adams of the New California Republic find it compulsory that I address you with the utmost of respect.
We have found some incriminating evidence against you for your racketeering, gambling and prostitution rackets which will lead to the eventual arrest of you and your associates.
But we don't want any more bloodshed, so if you could aid us by simply handing over all of your assets to us we will simply leave you and your family walk.
As for your associates they will be prosecuted and will serve their sentences in the NCR Correctional Facility.
So I hope you realize what the right thing to do is and you will prove more cooperative than I would expect you to be.
Yours sincerely; Colonel Adams
Tommy was now worried, his whole form of operations were on the brink of destruction. He needed to find the mole in the family and find who was giving the evidence to the NCR. He believed it was a soldier giving them it as he trusted his Consigliere and Capo’s too much. He knew they wouldn’t turn their back on him like that.
But this wasn’t the only problem that Tommy faced, the Gambino family was growing stronger and now that there was a war between the two families Tommy knew there would be bloodshed. He remained adamant on overcoming these problems and keep his business running. The family had not arrived yet and this angered Tommy. He was going to lose control if they did not enter the room soon enough.
