If you mean forum search then it's broken, but other than that this forum works just fine.

Specifically, what is not working for you? Or is it your entire forum experience? Seems to be an issue on your end. Probably service provider issues. Try back later, I'm sure it will fix itself. *crosses fingers*

I am all good here. The search function is the only universally broken function atm.

it is all right now, but in the last two days it was horrible. Don't know what caused it, but it was loading very slowly. Now, everything is fine.

It was getting really bad for me for a while. I couldn't edit posts, I couldn't quote people properly, I couldn't participate in polls. It was like that for nearly a month and then a few days ago it all went back to normal, no idea why it was like that or why it just stopped, nothing changed on my end at either point.

Are you using IE? Some functionality has been impaired for years now, but other than that...

For some odd reason I was not able to reach these forums beginning at the very start of what I later learned to be recent 'unpleasantries' up until sometime yesterday. Web searches unearthed no complaints of Beth's forums being down, though that was my assumption once I caught wind of what had happened. I now suspect it might simply be a case of much higher than normal traffic congesting the forum login server during the period in question. Maybe OP suffered a bit from this? (All seems well for me now, though for some reason the forums no longer honor my "stay logged in" flag.)

Yes, me too. I've had that problem for a day or two now. Every time I come here I have to log in all over again.

I have the same issue, it kicks me out when I close Firefox but not when I leave the site and come back. I thought it was on my end so I didn't think much of it, but I first noticed it yesterday. At least I am not the only one.

I've been getting booted off the last few days as well.. I usually have Community Discussion up and refresh every once in a while to see whats new, then suddenly I'm no longer on. I don't remember what day it started happening, and I remember it happening another year as well. I also was told my password was wrong trying to log in today despite it being right (pretty sure it was), then told I don't have permission to do something.. then I check the forum and I'm logged in anyway.

Other than that, I'm not having any other problems.. probably I'll start testing it to see if it will keep me logged in, then just stay logged off if not.

Blegh, I just now noticed the dates on your posts. I thought you both had said everything was fine then immediately turned around and said something was wrong, and I was poking fun at that, but now I see I was wrong. Ah well.

I have also been experiencing short log in times or just signing in and then a minute or so later I have to sign back in.

I was thinking it might be due to my Wifi Hotspot internet stick or the Cell Phone WiFi that I use at home.

Yeah, i've been getting logged out for no apparent reason for the last couple of days too.

And last friday the forums looked really messed up. But so did few other forums, and CTRL+F5 returned it to normal look (eventually). Also had a netio.sys BSOD, so that was probably just me :hehe:

Getting the same problem here on my end, despite having the "remember me" box checked.

I haven't experienced unepected log outs. Have you tried deleting the cookies from this site and letting them to be reloaded? Something may be glitched out there. Might be a long shot but just a suggestion.

The search has been broken for a long time now. What broke it and are there even any plans of fixing it?
