1. i have the feeling that if i follow the main quest up to close, the game will finish very quick so i am trying to explore every side quest just to keep going. i really would like not to force myself avoiding the main quest, just make it more mysterious (like the search of vault 13 in fallout 2) , i don't want to know everything. i don't want to make side-quests because their fun ('cause they really are ;GJ on this one) i want to explore simply because i don't know what to do next and want to solve the mystery that my father left me with.. it just feels that i'm forcing my self.
2 I love what you've done with Washington DC, i like the ruins , the old documents, books and relics but i would have liked even a greater map with , let's say, 4-5 big cities(or regions) thus resurrect the old map traveling (between big cities/regions) and the use of a car/ caravan.
3 this last issue is about, of course, the level cap. 20 is good for this game, you just level up following quests but you've taken out the fun of leveling up. in other games i used to go hunting big foes with lot of xp just to level up in this one i'm afraid to go hunting 'cause i'll reach level cap to soon . 40 with a perk at 2 lvls would be great for a next game thus making it longer and more rewarding for those that went hunting to finish at lvl 40.
other issues are minor, and with or without solving them nothing big would happen.
please beth, take these 3 issues into account for an eventual sequel, if you are ever planing one. i love fallout 3 so far (not finished yet) but i'm a bit frustrated about the 3 big issues i mentioned and i think it's gonna make the difference between a great game and one of the best. i know you are aiming for the best ever not just this autumn.
comment if you must.
