Is the game almost dead, again

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:00 am

>>Oblivion IS dead.
>>For those without imagination.
Oblivion might be dead to those with imagination.

>>...the game in high def ..
>>...a 55" LED thats like taking a ...
>>...I got a HDTV LCD screen for x-mas...
This is not a criterium for a good game.

>>It's still on store shelves.
So are many crap-games.

>>...Dead? morrowind isnt even dead yet
>>...Even morrowind still has a community behind it, and I know some people who still play daggerfall.
Morrowind is a somewhat different game
Morrowind/Daggerfall are not to be compared to Oblivion.

>>The Elder Scrolls will never die.
It depends on the developers.
If they make another 'generic' console game, i'm not so sure it will live very long.

>>...Get them to look at the mod section.
>>...Oblivion will never die as long as we keep making new ways to play it.
>>..As long as there are mods, Oblivion will continue to live.
The majority of downloads are mostly major game-changing mods.
Not a compliment to the developers.

>>Even without mods, Oblivion will continue to live
>>but I believe Oblivion is perfectly fine without mods
I do not believe this

RatWar:
Why did you do the 'Closed by request' for 'Is the game almost dead' post ?
A simplistic 'Moderators: Close this topic, it is answered' and '... we have closure ' does not seem enough to me.

Shut up...

This does not seem good advice. I like to express my opinion.

Its not dead to ANYONE who uses this forum, because we only frequent this forum because we still play it.

But what about those many ex-players who do NOT visit this forum anymore ?

You can get YOUR own thread locked by saying it and RatWar who is a MOD listened to the OP and closed it by request. Look for the Op's comment about to lock it.

There seems to be little point in reopening this topic.

OP: Next time contact a moderator before you reopen a closed topic.
