the game freezes a lot and corrupts recent saves. I have the steam goty version. is there a setting maybe graphically or some other thing that is causing the problem. I have a area 51. 5820 intel core and a 970 NVidia windows home premium 10. I play at any resolution high or low res to see if that helps from freezing but it doesn't help. so very despereate to finish game but don't think I can with the freezing and corruption. if any one can help that would be cool if not thx anyways.

I suggest getting OBSE Script extender and get Oblivion Stutter Remover. That might help with your issues.
