this glitch start about 2 months ago. it would freeze for a minute then go to the save files. now i think it's just completely freezing cause it's been 4 minutes please help.

How many save files you have ????

Load an earlier save file, play for a while then save to a new save file. I had the same problem as you and i resolved it that way. !!!

i only have the one save file and auto-save is off. i could start a new one but then the game would erase my current file. and i don't want to do that untill the rest of the DLC is out.

Are you sure its a freeze, it seems to be taking quite a while to bring the PSN save screen up once you press save in the game. Many people are thinking the game has frozen when you press save in game and have to wait a bit before the save screen does come up. It didn't do this in 1.5 for me, I skipped 1.7 and updated to 1.8 but that is when I seen it started taking forever.
