No what the game needs is free weapon slots, so that talented modders can make new weapon types. The game developers usually forget to add all types of weapons.

I am still stunned they did not include throwing weapons, spears and crossbows in Oblivion.

Just give us free slots and we do the rest.

Yeah my Assassin would equip his barratt sniper rifle and pwn those Dragons :flamethrower:

Nah, keep guns for Fallout 3 and leave TES with medieval style butchery.

Tamriel is one of the few medieval fantasy worlds thats done right. (Though the medieval aspect isn't as prevelent in Oblivion and Morrowind.) Fact is, I don't want it to be ruined by guns and technological advances.

The day guns are introduced in Tamriel is the day where the allure of the world is ruined for me. Guns change the face of the world. They change the mindsets of the people, they change how structures are built, and they change entire cultures. I prefer that Tamriel be one of the few fantasy gaming worlds that doesn't change in technology. So no, I wouldn't use it. Infact, I would pretend it doesn't exist, or learn how to mod specifically just to take the weapon out of the game.

The day guns are officially implemented in TES is the day I'll stop playing this saga.

If you want guns, go play Halo.

There will not be a gun in this game. Why on earth would Bethesda put a gun in an Elder Scrolls game? Why?
