Brock heard the man say "I'm not gonna hurt you!" and thought that was pretty comical. After all, why wouldn't you hurt someone in this game, let alone not hurting a raider. Brock decided he would humor him.

"Alright, but if you make ONE move against me I will personally rip out one of oyur eyeballs and stick were the sun dont shine." Brock yelled out to the man as he put his gun down and walked over.

Location: Outside Our Lady of Hope

Adam lowered his arms, and loosened his muscles, as he listened to the man, "Well thats a new one.." Adam mumbled walking over to the man.

"You should really be getting to Our Lady of Hope. Esh just sent a horde of monsters after us.." Adam said calmly to the man. "By the way, the names Adam." Adam said putting out his hand, waiting for a shake.

Kain heard the clang and turned to see a woman. She was pretty, but such things to Kain were trival to him, when they need to fight for their survival. The blonde hair guy started towards and he turned his back to let him deal with it.Another guy ran out of the hospital yelling,

"I'll be right back."

Kain tunred back to everyone else.

"I think it's best if we got to know each other. I'm Kain and I'm a doctor, if any of you are hurt please tell me. We don't injured people bringing us down."

"Also we need to think of a plan, because this place is probably going to being swarming with muntants."

"Names Ice." Brock said to Adam, while looking for weak points in his body. Brock then reached out and shook his hand

Adam walked back to the hospital with "Ice". He noticed everyone was introducing themselves, so he figured he should too.

"Hey, I'm Adam. I have severe brain damage and OCD." Adam said smiling.

Brock walked in with Adam and saw alot of people. In his mind he was working up a plan to kill them all, but on the outside he looked very docile. He didn't introduce himself like Adam had.

Why should I introduce myself when there all going to die? He thought

So Brock just leaned up against a wall and scanned the room for a carton of ciggarets.

Adam just walked in introducing himself, with another guy right in tow.

"Sorry Adam, I may be a doctor, but I don't think I can help you."

He turned his intention to the guy leaning against the wall.

Trying to play it cool? I don't trust him.

"He turned back towards everyone else well lets gets the introductions done quickly. I want to leave soon so we don't get stuck in this building."

"Ironic wouldn' it, if we died in a hospital? Actually people die in hospitals all the time, or they used to atleast. So I guess it would be perfectly logical if we died in here."

"Oh, sorry I got off track, lets just get going."

Location: Metro Right beside Arlington Cemetery
Rice ran after the ghoul for a good while. Fortunately for him he was heading in the right direction the whole time. He finally found the ghoul in a corner, thinking that he could hide from Rice. Rice smiled and did not hesitate to put a bullet right in the ghouls head. After that he made his way towards Arlington Cemetery. Soon the stench of the metro began to vanish. He saw the gate up ahead and pulled it over. He walked up. He had been to the place many times. The graves always spooked him out. The lone house was home to a raider, but Rice didn't know if Esh had allowed him to continue to live there. Rice made his way across the fields, heading for the Northern Metro. Sometimes he heard noises and did a full 360 sweep of his surroundings, only to find that there was nothing there.

He spotted the house about ten minutes later. It was worn down but still standing. He spotted something weird though, a sign. He cautiously walked up and began to read.

Rewards lurk inside, but work must be done to get them.

Rice smiled. "This is my kind of game." He opened the door, and entered.

Eden looked up at the group that had approached her. Apparently they were eager to form a team. Her trust wasn't given freely but she agreed to it.

"Okay," She said, "My name's Eden Thomas, everyone just calls me Eden. I specialize in close quarters combat, and can be a diplomat at times."

One of the group members helped her up while another handed her weapon to her. She gave him a nod, then noticed that the group had picked up another member. A man leaning against the wall with a rifle.

"We should be getting ready for this coming attack," Eden said to no one in particular.

Location: Our Lady of Hope Hospital

Victor continues waiting impatiently for the young woman to take his hand when the double doors leading into the hospital started shaking fiercely as if something was slamming against them with great force. Victor quickly holstered his sidearm and removed his M-16 from his shoulder, aiming at the double doors ready to perforate anything that broke through. All of a sudden two giant, yellow pissed of Super Mutants busted through, Super Sledges in hand. Victor fired of two bursts into ones arm, causing him to drop the sledge hammer and roar in agony.

He quickly crouched behind a counter and retrieved a grenade from inside his jacket, flicking the pin out with his thumb and letting it cook for a few seconds before hurling it at the two assailants. Moments later a loud "BOOM!" echoed out as shrapnel painted everything around him. Victor realized he'd left the woman unattended and hoped she'd found cover before it went off. He peaked his head over the counter briefly to check out the damage done, finding two badly mangled torsos and chunks of yellow flesh and gore splattered about.

Victor scanned the two torso's and moved on, noticing a large 10 flash on his pipboys screen.

Jonathan didn't have time to react as Victor opened fire. Jonathan jumped behind a seat giving him some cover and fired of a few rounds into the supermutants chest before Victor threw a grenade. "Everyone get down!"

Eden heard the super mutants break the doors down and didn't react in time to fire off any rounds. Luckily the man named Victor had been ready and attacked. After he fired a few rounds Eden heard the familiar 'click' of a readied grenade. She quickly slid underneath a desk, hoping it would hold off most of the grenade blast. Fortunately it was enough to keep her out of harm, the metal desk moaned as the force of the grenade hit it.

Eden pooked her head up from the desk with her MP5 ready for anymore threats. It looked clear for the time being, so she slowly backed to the same counter Victor was at.

"Nice throw," she said, with a little sarcasm.

"Yeah." Jonathan said quietly, mostly to himself. "Should we get out of here or stay. It looks like it's getting dark already so I think we should stay and barricade the doors. Each person be a lookout in case anything happens." He walked up to the doors and looked outside. "Yeah it's getting dark and I wouldn't be out there with all those animals roaming around. But, going out in the dark and sleeping during the day can help us not encounter much resistance. Whats it going to be?"

When he heard "Everyone get down," he immeditaley jumped behind a gurney to safe himself from shrapnel.

Kain only had a close range weapon, so he had to wait for the others to deal with muntants.

"Yeah, I belive we should get going, it's better than getting stuck in this hospital."

He tied a black bandana to his head to keep the hair out of his eyes.

"Guys, don't forget to scan your kills, you want the points."

Victor had no clue who was in the lead, but with 10 points he figured he had to be in last place by now. Oh well, winning wasn't exactly his goal. He decided to exit the hospital first, leaving the rest of the group behind as he scouted ahead for potential threats. He didn't exactly agree with leaving the hospital, fortifying a position and holding it down was par for the course in any kind of battle, even if this was considered a game. After finding no obvious threats outside, he turned back and yelled to everyone still inside. "Seems clear out here."

Jonathan was another one that would rather stay in the hospital. "Okay guys lets go." He looked up and saw a something gleaming. Whats this? He reached up and pulled it down. "Hey everyone looks like he's been watching us. It's broken though." He crushed the small camera in his hands.

"Hey look what it says on the Pip-boy, It's 7:40 already, we should really head out now."

Eden watched as others began leaving the hospital.

It would probably be best to stay where we are, but there is safety in numbers, Eden thought.

Eden slowly made her way out the hospital's doors, against her better judgment. She looked around, it was getting dark, and the courtyard looked like a warzone.

"Where should we go?" Eden asked.

Jonathan looked around for a moment. "I think we should stay in the metro tunnels. I mean its just feral ghouls right?" He used his MP5 to point towards the closest metro entrance.

He heard a howl coming from the distance. "Damn it sprinters! I think we should go, now!"

When the Super Mutants came in, Brock barely had time to react. He began to run forward and take cover but as he started to move forward he slipped on something on the ground.

"Crap!" Brock said as his head hit something on the ground. He was lucky, as he didn't die. But he was knocked unconscious. He lay there limp on the hospitals floor.

Adam winced as the grenade went off just meters away from him. He was just barely out of the blast radius of the grendade, so he was uninjured. Adam turned around and looked at victor, Adam had blood splattered all over his face and on his clothes. "Good one." Adam remarked. He noticed Ice's limp body laying on the cement floor, he had an enormous gash gushing blood from the back of his head.

"Kain! Get over here!" Adam yelled with urgency

Adam saw some loose cloth beneath Ice's armor. He pulled it out. It was a bandana. Adam tightly wrapped it around Ice's head to stop the bleeding, and waited impatiently for Kain to come to his aid, and then he heard it. Sprinters.

"Ahh [censored]. Kain hurry it up!"

Victor looked back inside the hospital at the unconscious man and couldn't help but feel responsible. In that moment he was more concerned with getting "points" then he was with everyone's safety. Needless to say he wouldn't be that careless again. He heard someones suggestion of going into the metro tunnels and shook his head. He'd been on enough "Tunnel Purges" to know that feral ghouls, particularly Reavers were often underestimated, and that almost always led to people needlessly dying horrible deaths.

"Metro is the only way to get out of here unless you've got a vertibird stashed some place. Where the hell are we going anyway? My goal is to find this Esh guy and put a hollowpoint in his cranium. I figure he's got to be around here if he's broadcasting messages over our pipboys.", Victor said in a calculating tone.

Brock began to awake. He was exteremily delerious and everything was fuzzy. He saw someone in front of him. In his delerious state he only saw his brother in the person in front of him's place.

"J-James......Why are you he...here?" Brock said

Adam looked at Ice with a confused face.

"Someones had a little too much jet." Adam joked. He helped Ice to his feet. "Don't take that bandana off or you'll probably bleed out and die an incredibly painful death!" Adam said with a big grin. "Now hurry up we've gotta catch up, with the others." Adam added, starting to run off to the rest of the group, motioning for Ice to follow.

Brock saw His Brother running out of the hospital. He was confused why his brother was leaving

"Wait up James! Where you going!"Brock yelled out as he followed him, using his gun as a crutch.

"Damn, I need to fix this when I stop" Brock said to himself. He then scratched his ear, and felt cloth around it.

"Wah?" Brock said as he felt the bandana, but ignored it and kept walking.

Location: Outside of hospital

"The metro is probably our best choice right now. Those sprinters are coming for us," Eden said to Victor.

She began to walk down the stairs of the metro tunnel, not waiting for the others to follow. She pushed open the old rusted gate of the tunnel, making an eery scraping noise that echoed down the tunnel's walls. Eden pulled her MP5 to her shoulder tighter, and shivered. The cold tunnel air needled her exposed skin, Eden longed for her power armor. She was thankful that the leather boots she had on went so high on her calves and had bits of cloth wrapped around it, atleast she was given that much.

These clothes aren't very protective, but I doubt this Esh guy cares much, Eden thought.

She wanted to be out of Esh's sick game. Whether she made it out with the rest of these people or not didn't matter much to her. She still had a mission to finish, it just had to take a back seat for the time being.
