Location: Metro Tunnels

Victor followed Eden and immediately started scanning the dark spots perfect for ambush in the tunnels, his M16 swaying back and forth in even arcs. Expecting the worst had always worked for him, and he wouldn't stop now. After entering the subway he realized he was placing his life in the hands of the men behind him, since they'd be in charge of watching both his and Eden's backs. Suddenly he felt worried. He considered convincing everyone to leave the wounded man behind, ghouls could smell blood from uncanny distances, especially feral ones.

He shrugged the thought off and ran ahead, placing his back against an overturned train and motioning for Eden to get on the other side. Charging head first through the dark tunnels would be absolutely suicidal and an amateur move. Instead, Victor intended to advance slowly, clearing every foot of territory between him and the exit on the other side. He'd be damned if he died in this psychos game due to some trigger happy upstarts.

Location: Near Metro Tunnel

Brock had wandered off, because he was hallucinaiting his brother walking in a random direction. He kept wlaking that way untile he heard a voice.

"Stupid Human!" A nearby super mutant had said. Brock had no time to react nd was knocked unconscious. While he was out, the super mutants had tied his hands together and were dragging him to god knows were. When Brock finnaly woke up, he was lying on cold stone and his hands were tied together.

"Ugh" Brock said as he awoke. He looked around and all he saw were super mutants and junk. He had no idea what part of the area he was.

Location: Metro tunnel under hospital

Eden followed Victor's command, and got on the other side of the train.

She whispered to Victor, "Do you want me or you to take point?"

Eden knew the best way to survive was team work, even if it was with a stranger. A low growl echoed down the tunnel, then another, and another.

"Sounds like three, but I'll bet there's close to six," she whispered.

Eden began scanning her surroundings, making sure there weren't any other creatures near them. She shivered again waiting for Victor's response. Some of her hair fell infront of her face, but she quickly pulled it back.

Location: Vernon Square Metro Tunnels

Adam caught up with the Eden and Victor, drawing his dual desert eagles and turning on the miniature flashlight attachments he had on both of his handguns.

"Well..it doesn't seem like the ghoulies wanna' come out and play today." Adam laughed.

Just after Adam finished his sentence a loud, hisss, came from the unexplored darkness that layed beyond them.

"Looks like I spoke to soon." Adam muttered as the group ran up to the sound. Adam Shined his flashlights around the tunnels until he shined them directly onto one of the creatures. It cringed from the intensity of the light, its eyes couldn't adjust quickly enough, before adam ran up to the ghoul and pistol whipped it. It fell to the ground and spat out some blood, hissing some more, until adam stepped on it's back, leaned over, and with a quick sudden motion, snapped its neck. Its lifeless body layed on the dirt covered ground, with its decaying head facing in the wrong direction. Within seconds rats poured in from the ascending tunnels and started gnawing on the ghouls rotten flesh. Adam kicked a rat off the ghoul and scanned the feral.

"Yay?" Adam remarked.

Adam walked back over to the group, just as another ghoul clawed him in the back of the head. "Should've seen that coming." Adam grumbled. Adam whipped around swinging his leg directly into the gut of the ghoul. It slammed into the ground, gasping for air. Adam aimed his Desert eagles at the fallen ghoul, and then shot it square between the eyes. Its head erupted with blood and chunks of its useless brain.

"Yuck." Adam said leaning over and scanning the decapitated ghoul.

Location: Metro Tunnels

Victor grimaced as he spotted 6 ghouls. Since there were 6 he could see, he estimated there were at least another 6 hiding in the shadows. "I'll take point, I need to you take out the ones that come after I've started firing." Without another word Victor crouched down and sprinted to a pillar, using it as cover as he peeked around it and leveled his M16 on a Roamer's head. He squeezed the trigger ever so softly and fired a burst, totally annihilating the creatures head and leaving only a bloody stump in it's wake.

After the first one fell the rest quickly started on him, roaring frantically as they went. He began firing short bursts into two more ferals, hitting them directly in the stomach and cutting their entire torso's cleanly in half. He quickly reloaded and motioned for Eden to make her move as 4 more ghouls came from the shadows, two of them Reavers. They'd need to focus their firepower on the Reavers if they wanted to make it out of the confrontation alive. "Reavers 2 'o clock!", he yelled while firing on the ravenous monsters.

Location: Metro tunnels underneath hospital

Eden ran to a pillar near Victor and rolled her MP5 to her sight line. She pulled the trigger down and watched the bullets slam into a ghoul, next she began focusing her fire on a reaver.

"Now would be a good time for a grenade," Eden said over the gunfire.

One of the reavers began running towards Eden, so she switched her fire to it. Emptying to entire clip of ammo the ghoul dropped. It looked something like swiss cheese. She would scan it later. Quickly pulling a magazine from one of the pouches on her shorts Eden slammed it into her MP5 and re-cocked it. She began firing on the ghouls again, dropping another roamer. Soon only a reaver was left. It ran for cover.

"Looks like we'll have to hunt this one down," she said lowly when the gunfire stopped.

She walked to the reaver that had charged her and scanned, and was awarded with ten points.

ten down, two hundred and ninety to go, she thought.

Location: Vernon Square Metro Tunnels

Adam noticed the four ghouls that were running straight towards them. Two were roamers, two were reavers. "Alright, lets do this." Adam commented, before quickly jumping, and pulling himself atop a broken down metro train. Adam adjusted his hat so it was out of his eyes, and then fired one round into the head of a roamer, wiping its head clean off. The roamer fell to its knees, its headless neck spewing blood, with its decrepit head rolling behind it.

Adam went wild firing his desert eagles at one of the reaver's. Round after round into its thick skull, the reaver was slowly losing its strength, until it punched a hole in its stomach, and took out some glowing goo, that it hurled at Adam. "[censored]!" Adam yelled as he dove off the sub-way train. The glowing goo just barely missed Adam, and landed on the train. It burnt a hole straight through the train's thick steel, and fell into the train's interior.

"Woah." Adam uttered looking at the burning goo.

Just as Adam turned around the reaver was on him. It dug its claws into his chest and started thrashing wildy. "Aaahh!!!" Adam cried in pain. Adam thrusted his legs into the ghoul sending it into the train. It hit the train, with a loud grunt. Adam got up and unloaded the rest of his clip into the reaver's head, before it finally exploded with a satisfying mess of blood and skull bits. "Damn.." Adam sighed, grasping his chest, "That was harder than I thought it would be."

Adam went back to meet the group, "No worries, I got it." Adam assured them as he reloaded his handguns.

Jonathan didn't notice everyone go into the metro tunnels and he was still outside. He sat down and heard another howl. "Guys I think we should go now. Guys?" He turned around and noticed no one was there. [censored] they left me behind. He heard a thumping sound in the distance and he turned in that direction. [censored] five Sprinters! He pulled up his MP5 and shot bursts in their direction while pacing back towards the metro entrance. He took one out and they were almost on him. "Damn!" He fired the rest of the clip into another sprinter and pulled out his beretta. He shot a round into a sprinters leg making it fall and killed another one. Just two to go! The closest one jumped on top of him and was about to bite his neck. He put the gun under the Sprinters head and pulled the trigger. One left. The other one was beginning to get up Jonathan got up and kicked it in the face before crushing his face with the MP5.

He was walking back towards the metro tunnel when he heard more howls. He turned around and saw fifteen to twenty sprinters coming towards him. Screw this! He ran inside the metro tunnels, closed the gates and locked them. It wasn't going to hold for long, maybe about ten to fifteen minutes but he was on his own right now. He walked slowly until he heard gun shots. He ran towards the gunfire until he saw Eden, Victor and Adam killing off the last ones. "Guys we need to go there are about twenty sprinters trying to get in here."

[OOC: Ok, its been over an hour since the last post and its starting to get uber-boring. I think that for now on if your going to log off for a while, you write that you'll be offline for a while at the end of your post in OOC. (sorry if i came off as sounding like a jerk, i didn't mean to.]

Adam turned his attention to Jonathan who just gave him the news of the horde of sprinters that were trying to break into the tunnels. "Well thats just great!" Adam said sarcasticaly.

"Alright then, lets get a move on." Adam said holstering his handguns. Just as Adam took a step forward, an incredible pain shot through his chest, "Gahh!" Adam yelped. His chest was intensely wounded from his brawl with the reaver. He could feel that his shirt was soaked with blood, although you couldn't tell because his shirt was red in the first place. Adam lifted his shirt and looked at the gashes on his chest. "Ah [censored].." Adam muttered looking at his cuts. They were all very deep, and seemed to be infected, and from the look of it, they could be fatal.

OOC: ((Uhm.. Take it easy buddy. Some of us have other stuff to do and can't camp the board constantly. It is a week day afterall.))

Location: Metro Tunnels

Victor began to relax after the bulk of the ferals were taken care off, retrieving a silver flask from his jackets inside pocket. He took a couple good swigs before replacing it, swinging his M16 over his shoulder and drawing his sidearm. "Right.. I think it's safe to continue."

He then began walking slowly toward the next checkpoint, his finger resting steadily on the trigger of his .45. He wondered what happened to the wounded man he saw earlier, and figured he was probably in pieces by now courtesy of the ghouls. He didn't bother checking to see if anyone was following his lead, at this point the main threat had been suppressed.

Even though everyone had agreed to hold off on going at each others throats, Victor remained constantly alert. He didn't have to worry about the woman Eden, at least not as much as the others. They seemed ruthless, easy to put their lives at risk simply for the excitement of it.

Reaching the first platform, Victor climbed atop it and started assessing the surroundings, spotting a ticket station that could potentially house a glowing one, a sickly green light radiating from it. "[censored]... We may have a glowstick up ahead... I suggest y'all keep a fair distance. When these things go down they have a tendency of taking anyone stupid enough to be near it with'em.

Jonathan followed Victor and saw the eerily glowing light. "Slow down, who covers whom?" Jonathan was already kneeling down and taking aim. He checked to see if he had replaced the empty clip and saw that he didn't. After replacing the clip he raised his gun at the light. " Okay lets do this." The light started moving right as he said that then he heard a loud shriek. The glowing one came into view and he fired off a few shots when he saw another one coming into view. He shot the half the clip into the glowing one. Jonathan took out his pistol and shot three rounds into the glowing ones head thus killing it. The other one came up to Jonathan, picked him up and threw him against the wall.

[OOC: Sorry, i wasn't trying to offend anyone by it, just asking if everyone could alert eachother before they log off, thats all.]

Adam held in the pain in his chest, he had to if he wished to survive. Adams attention was drawn to The glowing one that hurled Jonathan against the wall. Adam ran over to the ghoul, and forcefully kicked it in the chest, amazingly, Adam's foot impacted the ghoul's chest with such force that it entered through the ghouls brittle chest and was lodged into its rib cage. Adam fell back, his foot still stuck inside the ghoul, the ghoul was in to much pain to emitt any radiation attacks. "Holy [censored]!" Adam shouted with his foot inside the ghoul. He pulled his foot out of the ghouls chest, and stomped the ghouls head to small gorey bits. He walked over to Jonathan and helped him up.

"Damn, who new I could do that?" Adam said to Jonathan chuckling, and shaking the ghoul gore off of his sneaker.

Jonathan's side wound reopened after he was hurled at the wall making the bandages stained with blood. "Thank." he said after Adam helped him up and then he glanced over at the ghoul. "You did mess him up bad." He said after looking at the hole in the ghouls chest. He limped towards the ghoul. "You should scan it." He picked up his weapons and walked up to the ghoul he killed and smashed his head in anger. "Bastards, anyway we should get going the Sprinters should break through the gate at any moment."

Adam scanned the ghoul, adding 7 points to his score. "Yeah I agree. I dont know about the rest of you but i'm not exactly in the mood to be eaten alive by a huge pack of sprinters" Adam joked. He found a grenade on one of the glowing one's dead bodies. "Ooh, what do we have here?" Adam said tossing the grenade around in his hand.

"Alright lets head ou-" Adam was interrupted by a loud clanging of metal, followed by fast footsteps, and loud growls. "Oh [censored]! Their in! Run! [censored] run!!" Adam yelled stowing the grenade in a pouch on his belt and sprinting off down the stairs behind the ticket booth.

Eden looked at Adam and sighed.

The kid is going to get himself killed, She thought to herself.

Just as she was relaxing she heard the sprinters moving through the tunnels. From the sound of it they were five minutes away from the group. They would have to time to set up an ambush, or run some more.

"Guys we can set up an ambush and kill these things, it beats running from them," Eden said to those getting ready to run.

She began pulling rubble and other things together as a crude wall.

[OOC: Damn, im sorry for nagging so much and now im just starting to sound like a [censored]. But my character is no "Kid", hes 20 years old lol.]

Adam was near the ticket booth when he heard Eden's plan. "Alright, I dont see how 4 people can ambush over 20 sprinters.. but what the hell I guess i'm in" Adam responded. Adam dashed over to where Eden was, and began helping her build a barricade.

"I hope you guys know these things have an amazing sense of smell, so if your planning to hide and then jump out and slaughter em', i'm thinking that wont turn out so well." Adam remarked as he pushed a large crumbled piece of cement over to the makeshift barricade.

Location: Metro Tunnel Exit/Takoma Park

Victor was already back in the tunnel, following the tracks east toward Takoma Park. The park was constantly under siege by Talon mercs and Super Mutants, but it was as good a place as any to search for Esh. He figured the others would figure out the direction he went, or not. Either way the park seemed like his best bet at finding the bastard.

After a few minutes of walking Victor came to the end of the tracks, finding the room strangely vacant with the exception of a few radroaches. He slowly began walking up the escalator, finding 3 feral ghouls feeding on the corpse of some unfortunate raider. Victor didn't hesitate, 3 shots rang out as each ghouls head exploded into a hundred shards of bone and clumps of brain matter. "6 points...Not bad for not breaking a sweat, I guess."

Victor finally reached the rusted gate leading to Takoma Park, then opening it and holstering his sidearm, reaching for his M16 and crouching down low. No more fighting the emaciated inhabitants of the subway. The creatures that lie ahead had claimed the D.C. ruins as their home, not an easy feat with the likes of the Brotherhood of Steel fighting against them. Overlords, Masters and Brutes had slaughtered wastelanders by the hundreds and Victor was willingly walking into their home territory.

He quickly sprinted up the staircase leading outside and crouched behind a rusted husk of a school bus, waiting a few moments in case anyone was insane enough to follow him. He didn't require, nor expect help from his fellow contestants but he'd welcome it all the same.

Eden was pleased with the barricades growth. It wasn't pretty but hopefully it would offer them enough protection. She walked over to a Nuka-Cola machine and began to push it over. It was heavier than she expected but soon she had pushed it on its side, creating another obstacle for the sprinters. Eden then walked over to Adam.

"Hunker down guys, and toss that grenade when you see the first one. These things aren't that tough," she said, hoping her words would calm the others.

The sounded of barking and claws scraping across cement was getting louder. Eden found her place behind the barricade and readied her MP5. Then she noticed Victor had left. She was getting a little uneasy.

Location: Vernon Square Metro Tunnels

Adam peered through a small gap the size of his head in the barricade, and he could see the enormous pack of sprinters ramming against the cement wall. Adam plucked the pin out of the grenade, and tossed it through the gap. "Enjoy!" Adam shouted to the sprinters as he ran away from the wall "I'd reccomend moving before this thing collapses on you two." Adam said leaning on the ticket booth. Eden and Jonathan both quickly sprinted out of the way. and within seconds of their movement their was a huge explosion, followed by the crumbling of the wall. When the dust and smoke cleared 12 sprinters were annihilated, their limbs laying on the dirty ground, pieces of their organs littered throughout the area. 9 sprinters were farther back and were still alive.

"Ok now we run right?" Adam asked looking at the rest of the sprinters who were snarling at them.

Jonathan also held his MP5 up. He kept gripping it harder as the sounds got closer. "Okay lets do this, three against twenty sounds good." He reloaded his Beretta and decided to use it instead as it didn't take much to kill a Sprinter the only thing that made them a formidable enemy was the fact that they hunted in packs.

The sounds were getting closer, he could hear the growling. "Get ready to throw the grenade." He saw the first one come around the corner and he sent a three rounds in its direction. Two impacted on its head the other hit the wall behind it. He quickly shifted to his MP5. "This seems like the Alpha!" He shot more bursts toward the alpha but it was already at the barricade and the others were coming around the corner. The alpha jumped over the barricade and he shot it a few more times. He started to take out his knife as it lunged toward him. The animal bit his already injured side and he stabbed it in the eye. The animal let out a whimper though it was still alive. Jonathan took out his Beretta and shot more rounds into its head killing it.

Location: Takoma Park

Victor stopped waiting for others to come, figuring they probably got held up by the strange creatures pursuing them earlier. He climbed inside the old broken down bus and peeked outside the window, spotting a fairly large encampment of Super Mutants. He poked the barrel of his M16 out the window and leveled the sight on what appeared to be an Overlord, cursing under his breath as he considered blowing the creatures head off in that instant.

Rather then trying to duke it out with them the hard way Victor came up with an alternative means of taking a large chunk of the group out if not all of them, including the Overlord. He removed the two remaining grenades from his belt and tied them together.

Victor then slowly got back out of the school bus and came up around the back end, firing off two rounds into the sky and catching the attention of every single mutie in the area. A moment later they were on him, screaming they're heads off and charging toward the bus without a moments hesitation.

Victor grinned as he removed both pins from each grenade simultaneously, then throwing them under the bus and literally jumping down the staircase leading back to the metro tunnels. 6 muties, including the Overlord were already surrounding the bus when the grenades went off, causing the bus to go up with them.

The resulting explosion killed the lot of them instantly, sending limbs, blood and gore every which way. The fall from jumping roughly 30 feet down the staircase dislocated Victor's shoulder, but all things considered he made it out of the situation victorious.

Finding no more mutants in the immediate vicinity he continued to scan several different body parts, netting him about 70 points.

Location: Vernon Square Metro Tunnels

Adam ran over to Jonathan, "Damn you're really taking a beating aren't you Adam said as he turned around and shot two of his .50 caliber desert eagle rounds into the head of a sprinter, it collapsed to the ground and slid a few feet. Blood poured on the already blood covered ground. Adam took off his belt and ripped off a piece of his shirt. He handed the two items to Jonathan. Here use this belt to wrap around your wound, but put the piece of my shirt on the area where your wound is, so it can pad it.

Adam turned around and covered Jonathan while he put on the makeshift wound wrapping. Another sprinter leaped towards Adam. The Sprinter tackled him, it lunged towards him with a wide open mouth, its sharp teeth dripping with blood. Just before it bit Adam, he grabbed its snout, he struggled to keep it from biting him, he drew one of his desert eagles and stuck the barrel into the beast's mouth. And then he pulled the trigger.

The animal was dead before it got a chance to yelp. A blood covered bullet exited through the top of its skull, followed by blood spraying out of its wound. Adam pushed the beast off of him, it fell to his side, its limp lifeless body layed on the ground, its blood sprayed on adams face.

Adam spit out some of the beasts blood that got in his mouth, "Ah, yuck!" Adam exclaimed wiping the blood off his face.

Jonathan was wrapping the cloth and belt around his side when Adam killed another one. "Lets finish the rest off." He was walking slowly, his side was aching it was almost unbearable but he didn't say anything. He fired off a few more rounds from his beretta killing another one before he fell down due to the pain.

Adam motioned for Eden to follow him "C'mon were out numbered we've gotta get out of here!" Adam shouted to Eden. She fired a few more rounds into one more sprinter killing it, she scanned the sprinter before she ran towards Adam and Jonathan, "Alright, lets go before they catch up." Eden said looking at the both of them.

"[censored] you're not going to be able to run." Adam muttered looking to Jonathan. Adam got Jonathan on his back like he was giving him a piggy back ride. "Alright," Adam said grunting, "Now we can go."
