I bought my original copy of the game yesterday, I installed it and after that I started the game, first I have to fill in my activation key(serial) after that a messagebox shows up telling me that the activation was succesfull, then I press "OK" and after that nothing happens, I have tried a lot to solve this problem like, running it like an administrator, used other serials that i got from the helpdesk and they worked but I get the same that the game isn't starting I also deleted my anti virus and turned off my firewall and that didn't work either, do you guys PLEASE have a solution for this problem?

Try to run the game by running Crysis2.exe (not Crysis2Launcher.exe)...
go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\bin32 and run Crysis2.exe

Thanx for your advice but I already contact ea support and talked to 2 seperate members and they both couldn't help me with this and I already tried running it by using Crysis2.exe, does anyone got another solution to this problem,?

Then if anything else doesn't work, try to use cracked exe. It's not illegal because you already bought the game and EA couldn't help you.

StorMaj, I download a few cracks and tried them all but i cant play multiplayer with them:( and if I did in a singeplayer game, and i want to load checkpoint is says game stopped working that happens also to me when i join multiplayer game, does anybody have good crack for version 1.9 because i see no other option

This whole business of using a cracked crysis2.exe makes no sense to me....

If you're legit, reinstall the game, manually download patch 1.9 (here, for example), and install that instead of a crack. Since you have a valid serial key, a cracked .exe would only cause trouble in MP. One of the 1.9 cracks does fix the load-game bug in SP, but the pirated MP players dont have it nearly as good as you would with a valid install.

Negative, it will only dsable DRM and other crack can enable normal game saves loading

In fact it also increases perfomance in part of CPU power - no need to use VirtualMachine to decode instructions.
So, if you use dual core CPU, lga775-era with cracked exe you will gain some more fps.

Yuna is partly right, but it is crack dependent. Maybe you two should have a pirate/hacker Private Message party.
