Accepted, but be warned: Being too courageous too many times is a quick way to die.

I fully understand the dangers of being such...but when you have a machine gun in your hands, you fear nothing, right? >wink<

An interesting trap might be for a special line of robots to have dead-triggers on them, which mean's they'll detonate and explode upon death. Not really a trap, but it opens up the possibility for the RPers having to learn which robots to deal carefully with.

I could make another Outcast character to replace my own when I die, but I'll go ahead and wait.

EDIT: Nevermind. No harm in making a second char since it won't count towards the cap.

Name: 'Haz-Matt'

Age: 4

Race: RoboBrain/Android

Faction: Outcast

Appearance: He's roughly around 6'4, and extremely bulky. Even if he was originally intended to be a non-discernible android, it's obvious to most that he's an artificial human.
First of all, his torso looks like the Outcast variant of Power Armor, with the exception of the legs and arms. He possesses standard RoboBrain tendrils as his arm appendages, with the sleeves of an Outcast Scribe Robe covering them up, and Power Armor gloves serving as hands. He doesn't have the normal two legs or treads of a RoboBrain or Human.
Instead, two front legs protrude from the bottom of his Power-Armor body, reaching outward away from his body. They're red and black, like the rest of his body, but the feet are massive hulks of metal and the actual legs are large RoboBrain tendrils disguised using Power Armor. His two back legs that protrude from just the back of his torso are nothing but two reinforced RoboBrain tubes with the familiar tread at the end of each one, nothing covering them.

His head is an enlarged variant of the Outcast Power Armor, and the lens are glowing yellow with the occasional red lettering popping up over the screen. Underneath his helmet is his brain suspended in stimulant liquids and tubing, but is also encased in a translucent, skull-shaped shell.

Clothing/Armor: His whole body is pretty much made of Power Armor, so that might count.

Weapons:
Has a standard RoboBrain zapper on both hands, along with a Gatling Laser function that he can swap from his normal blasters too at any time.

Misc.: Possesses a cache of ammo in a large compartment on his back. It's mostly Energy Cells and Energy packs, but there's a small amount of Microfusion Cells, too.

Personality: Haz-Matt is bitter at the world. He talks with no emotion towards anything he does, and feels very little for the every day life of humans. He silently follows orders and makes his own decisions based on situations, but will be damned before he helps anyone else. The only functioning part of his mind is his defense properties, which prompts him to protect his fellow Outcasts whenever in a high-risk mission, if he wants to or not. This doesn't stop him from being contempt about it the whole way through, and it's made his programming extremely stubborn.
Being a robot, he possesses a deep, monotone voice and no facial expressions. Thus, it's impossible to understand what's going on in his head unless he flat-out tells you, and since he's not prone to doing that, it won't happen very often.

Bio:
The Outcasts once researched their own means of creating an Android at their Bailey's Crossroads Outpost. They had many of their head minds over there, and although they were scarce on materials, they set out on their ambitious task anyway. They'd managed to recover some flawed intel at the Commonwealth, and used what little they had to create a fighting machine.
They created several robots, actually. Many were started, but never finished, as they simply didn't have the technology. They started relying on Robobrain parts and tech more and more as models started to die off faster and faster. Eventually, they reached the point of Haz-Matt's birth. He was the most advanced one, but once again, they couldn't complete him. By this time, the project's hopes had died off, and the Outcast Scribes and soldiers instead tried to turn him into a normal industrial RoboBrain. Since he was already partially created, and bits and pieces were still functioning, they molded him into his current state.
He was made just in time, it seemed, for a new radio signal had appeared.

Quirks: Has a much darker toned version of a normal RoboBrain's voice. While he's programmed to defend Outcast members, BoS soldiers aren't in his directory. Whether he's updated to do so or not is up to a superior's choice during the RP. Also has a weakness towards Pulse weapons, like any other robot.
Self-sufficient, so needs no food or rest, but needs to restore energy if a reboot is ever necessary.

I know this guy needs approval.

approved, if you can handle being a less powerful android than the IDOS. After all, you're Outcast technology.

It's fine for a second character. After all, there will be SOME normal Gutsy's in the place, right?

There's an assortment of robots, but as you progress closer to GAIUS, the security steps it up.

Actually, second characters don't count towards my final goal. Still room for one more outcast and one more BoS, though if by tomorrow night nothing happens, I'll just start up as is.

Hopfully after this, people will get used to my "do or die" philosophy and I can implement this into some of my other ideas. Oh yes, there will be blood.

And sneaking in at the last minute.

Frank "Rat" Wilson

Age: 34

Race: Human, Caucasian

Faction: Outcast

Appearance: 5'4'' pale skin with the exception of his head which is several shades darker for not wearing a helmet when using power armor, his scalp has furrow shaped scar when this came back to bite him. Red hair in a buzz cut with no facial hair and eyes of two different colors blue and green. Possesses countless burn marks up to his wrist and the tip of his left pinky finger is missing.

Weapons: Plasma pistol, two pulse grenades, three plasma grenades, Combat knife

Clothing: cotton shirt and jeans under well kept outcast power armor. His helmet generally dangling on one of the loops on his backpack

Misc: Large backpack (large pouch for loot)
Current loot: ten pounds of scrap metal, one fission battery, two pilot lights fourty feet of rope
flashlight
two medical kits,
forty six bottle caps,
seven lock picks,
three large coffee thermoses filled with irradiated water,
seven pieces of dried Brahmin steak,
a compass,
bandoleer for grenades,
ten full microfusion packs (with the pistol itself lacking two shots in the current pack.)
One well worn map of the capital wasteland marked heavily in rough shorthand
Set of sunglasses usually over his eyes or perched on the top of his head.
Two pencils

Personality: Greedy, Capitalistic, Pragmatic, Wary. If he sees a way to profit from a situation while not upsetting his current masters he will do so with glee.

Bio: Frank deserted from the BoS on a reconnaissance training mission with two fresh trainees under the order to not engage under any conditions.
He had always been the type to take the filings out of a person minutes after they died but this time was different, a party of enclave soldiers had been ambushed by a raiding party of the local bandit king. Frank had been taking two new recruits with him as while most people who knew him dislike him they could not deny his uncanny ability to survive situations greater men died from. With his love of technology and potential value of the loot Frank could not resist this, telling his trainees to go find some cover and keep their heads down Rat had went off to remove the remaining unwounded fighters. The unfortunate fact of the day was that Frank miscalculated the situation and his trainees died to a lucky shot from a hunting rifle and a lobbed grenade. Knowing the chances of him being killed for insubordination and causing the death of two soldiers Rat cut his losses burying the recruits in a nearby sand dune after stripping them and the enclave soldiers of their possessions managing to drag the heavy collection by using a piece of corrugated iron and a length of rope to pull it with him using the bounty of armor and weaponry to negotiate himself into the Outcasts.
Quirks:
-Has a mental list he keeps of the people that call him "Rat" he personally despises the name but it stuck so well nearly everyone remembered him as Rat in the BoS
-His eyes are something he dislikes about himself so generally he wears sunglasses to hide the fact they are different colors, when asked to remove them he is generally hesitant preferring to wear his helmet (which irritates his scalp) then going without obscuring his face.

For the sake of continuation and clarification, I'm going to ask that all IDOS members create a first name for their character.

I'll begin as soon as one more BoS signs up.

Name: Susannah Delgado

Age: 22

Race: Human

Faction: BoS

http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab144/Laszhal/wallpapes/Ninja_Girl.jpg

Clothing/Armor: Black Tanktop, Fishnet Shirt, http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f375/metamagic/Outfit1.jpg, Black Formfitting Shorts, Fishnet Pants, Ankle Strapped Sandals

Weapons: Kusari-Gama, Tanto, Wakizashi, Naginata

Misc.: 10x Caltrops, 10x Shuriken, 4x Kunai, 2x Ashiko, 2x Shobo, 10x Neko-Te

Personality: Susannah is often very deep and brooding, as well as being a tad philosophical, she does not actively socialize, though will conversate normally if engaged, in combat situations she is well-motivated and becomes serious, usually to the point where she will not utter a word, she is confident in her skills, but not foolish

Bio: Susannah was raised by her mother, a paladin in the Brotherhood, she took an interest in the old books about the ninja's of the east at an early age and instead of going to the firing range or taking other training she would spend her time practicing the art of the Ninja, at first her mother and the other Paladin's frowned upon this, thinking that it was a waste of the girls talent, but after her her first mission in which her scouting party was ambushed by Super Mutants and she saved her party with the use of her skills, the Brotherhood took pride in her unique talents, she has since been a very valuable asset to the Brotherhood and will even sometimes be sent on solo missions, in which her skills work better

Quirks: Susannah tries very hard to imitate the Ninja way, if someone were to force her out of character she becomes quite irritated

Susannah is used to solo missions and rarely shares in the tactical decision making of the group, she will follow order's, but will rarely add her own ideas or thoughts, if during a mission she finds a better way to do something, she will simply do it, much to the annoyance of those in the position of her superiors

"Kusari-Gama"

I believe, if my martial arts weapons knowledge is up to par, is a handle with a chain that leads up to a scythe type blade?
